That's what I'm thinking too. P&C offered to replace the open tins but I declined since the tobacco wasn't dried out. It's good to know they offered though.

I have actually had a couple of problems with shipments from P&C but each time they made it right, and very quickly. They're customer service far exceeds their quality control.

I've had this same experience. More often than not, I go to other retailers now. Not because I don't trust P&C to make things right, but because I just don't want to deal with the hassle. Don't get me wrong...they're great folks with a great selection to offer. If I were near Albany (it is Albany, right?) I'm sure it'd be at their B&M all the time.

Me either. Not had that happen with any vendor, ever. Certainly the guys at P&C should be notified...not necessarily to bitch (as it's almost certainly not their fault) but more to let them know what had occured. They need to be apprised of what's going on with their wares on the way to (or whatever) their customers...whom they do not take for granted. They have been very responsible with each and every one of the many transactions I have completed with them. I agree that this is very strange.

I can't buy any more tobacco right now. Not until about the first week of Feb (I get paid monthly).

Anyone wanting to...erm... you know...send a wee bit of KP my way to try... um...you know, when...you receive it... :twisted:

Hey Kyle, I'm down in Vegas. I'll be up in your city in the next few week to call on Renown. I'll bring you some KP. We can meet and the tinderbox. Is it still in the mall next to L&L Hawaiin BBQ? I bought my first pipe there many years ago, and would like to revisit the place. Do they still have a nice selection of pipes? The tb down here carried only one brand of pipe, I believe Escorti. They are no longer in business.
