Hello, Brothers of the Briar and friends of the leaf.

I'm Tomas, and I just moved from western Montana over to Nebraska. I've been smoking pipes off and on since the mid 1970s. I still have my first pipe, a small bent-style. It is a wondrous pipe!

I have started posting pipe-smoking and tobacco videos on my YouTube channel - you can see Episode 2 of my "Pipe Chat" here: Episode 2 - Pipe Chat with Tomas (NW7US) - this is a good edition as it talks a little bit about me, and why I use NW7US as my channel handle.

I am an amateur radio operator, and my callsign on the radio is NW7US. I enjoy Morse code, shortwave radio, and pipe smoking -- they seem to go well, together.

I also like Longfellow poetry. That's another interest that goes well with pipe smoking.

So, I look forward to my time on these forums. Thanks for having my company.
