Anyone have anything to say about reiners long golden flake? gets high reviews online. Thinking about ordering some.
LGF is great IMO. Based on what you have said so far I'd be surprised if you didn't care for it. The perique content may or may not appeal. Most smokers seem to either really dig perique (I adore it!) or dislike it considerably. If you buy it and don't care for it I'd be happy to trade for something else. I also find LGF to be fairly close in terms of flavor to Orliks Golden Sliced, which is another VA/Burley blend just without the perique.

Thx 'old_salt' , ' s.ireland'. I appreciate all your inputs !! Im gonna do an order soon i want to touch all blends so to speak whan i order my baccy. I already have a couple latakias which i love but give me sinus headaches. I just smoked a full bowl of Mac Barens scottish mixture which i love maybe there are some better scottish blends out there? Also Boswell sounds appealing for a burley . Maybe try the Berry Cobbler and thier Northwoods. Maybe Full Virginia Flake as well , and log golden flake.

Ive taken note after watching youtube tobacco reviews that alot of folks when trying a new tobacco say that after their first bowl they weren't impressed with their tobacco acquisition. However some have said they would either put their tin lid back on and let it sit for a few weeks or put it in a mason jar for a couple weeks and when they try it again it is exquisite. Is this a method that would work with all tobacco's? Is it therefore recommended to open your tins or cans and let them sit for a couple weeks? And lastly since i am still new and still have some questions what pipe tools will i need? I only have a corn cob and a Nording 60$ pipe. Besides the long bread tie looking cleaners with the fuzz on them What will i need?

Recieved my LGF from reiners. I am very satidsfied with it. I think i would vote it 3-3.5 stars out of 4. Great smoke and i need to save up some more $ so i can get some and age it i hear aging it makes it even better.
ASlso called Boswells today and ordered an ounce of their top 5 selling blends . Looking forward to getting those soon.
