That was actually in mexico...

I was way lubricated from a too long visit to the beach bar at Mr Sanchos resort when the Mrs decided we should go shopping.. She went into Carlos n Charlies, I was about to follow her when I realized just how much breakable gods the store stocked..
Deciding that I didn't want to buy the store (and realizing the senoritas walking around outside were far more attractive) I decided to just sit on a bench and enjoy a RASS..
I watched this ole boy with the birds for a bit and finally decided to get a close up look..
He told me to stick out my finger and next thing I know I've got a bird latched on, he chucked one on the hat and had me hold the other as he took pics..
Deciding that it was the greatest thing since the invention of glasses ("you will go blind if you do that".. Yeah whatever, I'll stop just shy of bi-focals) I had to have a copy of the pic...
Damn thing cost me $20, ironically the same price that all the stuff I would of broke in the store...
But I smile when I see it and remember fond memorys...and I really don't smile as often as I should, so I reckon it was money well spent..cheaper than a therapist anyway...



The ' mall' ,and I use that term very lightly, where that was taken was destroyed by hurricane something or ruther just a month or two after that was taken... Sad stuff right there man..it provided a lot of folk work they wouldn't have otherwise...
They rebuilt about 10km north but it sucks, way to touristy, and the locals up there are rude.. Can't blame them in a way, but still I wish they'd at least wait until I act like a typical gringo before they treat me like one...

I'm not complaining I'm enjoying the crap out of the boards recent bust of activity..or so it appears to me... But it freaks me out to be talking to some one and think "who is this guy" only to look over and see he has 300 post...lol..

I really should get out of the rubber room more often...
