Okay, Here's my 10th attempt at pipe making. I believe it's pretty good but, not great.
We are getting better.......I think but, since when have I ever known anything? Anyway, It's a bent Rhodesian if you didn't recognize it, Algerian briar and a hand cut Lucite stem. The finish looks nice I think and it's smokable, what more is there to say? Oh! This is a large pipe, 2 inch diameter bowl with a 7/8 inch chamber 1-1/2 inch deep.

I love large pipes, and this one is made very well. Ron, you have hit it on the head with this one. The symmetry is splendid, and the lines flow smoothly. To me, the draft hole looks perfect, and I like the smoothness and shape of the button.

If you are looking for a victim to just have to smoke this beauty, I would be happy to be him!

One of my favorite shapes, and it looks like you aced it, Ron. I think it's time you start thinking about a logo or something. If I had the talent and means to make a pipe that good, PAD would be history. Sweet.

Wow, awesome pipe Ron!   The shape, proportion, fit, finish and grain are all first rate.  Not sure how you could get much better.

So how about starting a rental program?

Wow, very nice, especially for a 10th pipe! The stem-to-stummel fit looks very good, and the finish is spectacular. Keep them coming!

I haven't seen the drilling, but I think you did a great job on that pipe, Cartaphilus! :D

The grain is nice too.

Thanks guys but, lets face it I do a much better job of buying pipes then I do making them and I think that's where this will end for now. ;)

I have to say you have talent and patience for pipe making. This is a great looking pipe. I was just looking at the cavalier you made, and that one is very interesting to me. Are you going to start making pipes to sell? From what I've seen you make I think even you would admit you have a good handle on the classic shapes, as well as a few more modern ones.

Thank you sir but, I haven't a handle on anything and I need a lot more practice.
This pipe still needs a little more work to be acceptable to sell. Someday I'll start
selling them but, don't anyone hold there breath. ;)

The drilling looks spot on to me.
