What al lovely saturday! I went for a morning stroll and I found this cypress root.
I don’t know, I saw it and immediately thought “This would make a nice pipe rest!” And since i had nothing to do this afternoon, I took it to my shop.
I used a briar branch as the base (I thought it was very appropriate) and a tiny olive tree branch to lift the cypress root.
I wanted it to fit two pipes, but the cypress root shape did not allow it, so I used the extra space to fit a zippo.
This is the result! It looks cool on top of the fireplace
