Looks good, man! The tight, almost criss-crossing straight grain is impressive!

damn flaws lol would have been almost perfect if it wasn't for them :x

*shrug* Should have seen the last one I did. I really thought it was a bottomless pit. Size of a peanut.

If it smokes well, you've done it right. Who's kit did you use?

bought it at a local shop for 32 bucks think they said tim west.

Sir very nice shape you done a great job there. try a little more sanding up to 600 grit some of the pits may come out if not you can try nails and ruff up that area all and all sir very good
Best Regards
Richard

So the stem came in that design or did you shape it? it really has a nice design reminds me of some vintage European pipe stems I have seen.

I really got to give a pipe kit a try it looks like it would be rewarding.

Nice work.

Fantastic results. I think it looks great. How does it smoke or are you still working on it?

Very nice job.

A rotary tool can make a flaw, a design like the pro's.

Congrat's. :rendeer:

smokes great. Nice large bowl and open draw, it is very similar to my Nording. Also that's the stem that came with it. Can't wait to get the next one going with a more custom stem and better briar next time; can't wait.

Congratulations! Sounds like a winner.

I love the grain on the shank (especially from the angle of your third picture). For $32, if it looks that good (even with the flaws) and smokes as like you say, I'd call that a heck of an experience and a heck of a bargain! Kudos!

Awesome looking PIPE, Wish I was with Talent. Guess within the last year a store in NY had a 75% increase in sales of Pipes could be a good small business to get into. Again looks very nice.

I'd sell them for cost right now lol. Some one buys a kit and thinks they couldn't handle it i'd make it to the best of the ability and give it back

I think she looks great, Im not even looking at the flaws, Im just looking at your great craftsmanship.

Thanks. So how hard is it to turn a stem with out a lathe? i'd like to do one from scratch but it seems to near impossible to do a good stem without heavy artillery.
