I had originally pulled and saved the collector. Mark Irwin (one of the authors of the upcoming Peterson book) filled in some of the blanks on that item and commented that it was an important aspect of the system style construction. So, I put it back on and I have to say it is a better smoke. The draw is a but to own without it, that tenon hike is quite large. See the big for dine details on the collector.
