They will; I've had it done. Also had a p-lip stem made by a U.S. guy; I think I have his card around somewhere if I can find it.

Charles Lemon (Dad's Pipes), Briarville Pipe Repair, Tim West will all make a new P-lip or fishtail stem. Steve Laug (Reborn Pipes) probably has Peterson stems in stock to fashion for the pipe.

This fella made a p-lip stem for my old Pete military mount billiard...

Yes. Charles recently did an incredible restoration for me on a badly cracked Peterson's 9BC. He and George Dibos are the best I've found. However, just for a stem, I'll avoid the high postage rates and difficult Canadian customs officials. I've made inquiries and am awaiting replies from Laudisi and Tim West. Thank you for your suggestion.

I did contact smokingpipes. They do not do stems, but thanks for the suggestion.

When I said above that I'd gotten a stem done by Peterson it wasn't through smokingpipes. I ordered my Pete Mycroft from an overseas shop and when it came it had a fishtail stem. I contacted the sellers but fishtails were all they had so I contacted Peterson directly and sent it to them to have a P-lip made for it. I don't believe smokingpipes owned them at that time. That was a few years ago so I don't remember it being a big hassle or terribly expensive, but it might be today! Tim will do a good job for you though.

I sent a 9BC to Pete for a stem and they sent the wrong stem. I had to send it again but they got it right the second time. A bit of a trans-Atlantic hassle.
