On a slightly less sanguine note...I wanted to mention that yesterday two good things happened.

One was that a friend that I had promised to help move a gigantic castle sized humidor...planned my day around the horrific event...drove to its location exactly half way between the Equator and the North Pole...stayed sober all morning and everything...already had it done when I arrived! The guy ended up hiring a couple of grunts, without bothering to tell me. Cigar guy...self absorbed moron fer sure.

The above was made all the more annoying because I had passed up the opportunity to enjoy a rare visit with a fellow Squadron member who lives in the same town as the 'humidor moron'. A while back I had agreed to receive a double shipment of stuff from a friend, some sample blends for me and some intended for the slippery FishFuzz. So I added a couple of items from my own plantation to make the trip worthwhile - then the humidor guy called begging for favors on the same day as the planned trip so I cut the time at FF's grotto to what amounted to being a drive by...and it turned out I didn't need to. Almost one of those 'shoulda, woulda, coulda' things.

Ah well. Fuzzy got his samples (plus a humble item from my shop) and at least we got to say howdy and all...and I ended up with a box of hand picked stogies which will take me a year to consume.

But NEXT TIME we'll have to do it right.
