Any luck Brandon? If I don't hear back by the beginning of next week or so, I'll just have them refund the payment for the tin that's no longer available so we can get the replacement order on it's way.
 
Great news!! The replace my order is finally on its merry way! It was mailed out earlier today and is currently in Swiss export customs clearance. Fingers crossed this is like our first two group buys, it should be here in 5-7 days!

I still haven't been able to get in touch with Zunismoke. I hope everything is okay. If anyone has a phone number for him, please PM me or try to reach out to him. I sent him an email to his paypal email address and it bounced back. I also tried sending him an email through the forum email contact and no reply.

Mailed Monday and arrived today. That's how it normally works! Needless to say, I'm going to be working tonight on getting everyone's orders packed up to drop in the mail tomorrow morning. Thank you all for your patience through this. I do honestly believe the mishap with the initial order was a fluke. I will be putting together more group buys in the future for Synjeco, but due to the delay with this one and the timing, the next one will likely be next spring.

Enough chatter, I'm off to sort and pack! Keep an eye on your PM's for delivery confirmation numbers soon! And if anyone has any word on Zunismoke or has any other means of contacting him, please let me know. It looks like he hasn't been online for a month or so and emails have gone unanswered :|
 
I didn't participate in this group buy (have in the past), but have been watching this thread with interest.

Gotta give a huge shout out to Chris for seeing this through, and putting up with all the aggro/time/BS involved in getting this sorted out. Above and beyond, brother. It couldn't have been easy.

In any event this has come to fruition, and I look forward to the next one which I hope to participate in.

Thank you Chris! That is a beautiful sight!  I agree it was a fluke mishap this time, and I won't hesitate to sign on if there is a next time.

Whoever got the Maryland no.333 will be very happy. I've been smoking it and it's very good. I also recommend the Virginia no. 444.
 
Everything is sliced, weighed, boxed, labeled and ready to go out tomorrow morning! I tried to keep the ropes as whole as possible when splitting them up, but there's almost always the inevitable pieces to get the weight just right. All delivery confirmation numbers have been PM'd out except for Zuni...Since I can't reach him via email, I'm going to send a letter to the address I have for him and see if I can get in touch before sending out his order to be safe.

Thanks again to everyone for being patient through all of this. I look forward to setting up the next group buy next spring. I'm going to try and time it to where we can place our order during their spring sale as well. Historically, the sale has been 10%, which I'm sure would be appreciated by all. Last year it ran around the 2nd-3rd week in April, so it's pretty close to where we were at before.

My order was waiting for me in the mail when I got home from work today...got everything jarred up (held a little bit back of each, just to have a few bowls sooner rather than later). Thrilled that everything worked out in the end!


Chris - thanks again for running this thing and putting up with all of the aggravation. I can't thank you enough for seeing it though!


I haven't spent much time on these forums recently as I used to, so if this happens again (and I'm hoping it will), could anyone of you fine fellows drop me a PM? Even if I miss the thread for a future group buy, the PM will hit my email so I'll know what's going on (and, barring major personal setbacks or a world war, I'd be in for sure).

Glad to see everyone's packages arriving safe and sound! I can't thank you all enough for sticking it out with me through this ordeal. For the next group buy, the actual thread will live in the Trading Post section with a thread in the Tobacco Jar forum directing traffic. Now get out there and smoke those ropes! :face:
 
I hope some of you fellas will let us know what some of these "not for sale" in the US ropes, flakes, and blends are like. A few reviews sure would be nice.
