CAO L’Anniversaire Cameroon, Robusto. Normal price is USD $125.07/20. Got one in a pack of assorted brands, "8 cigars only only $10". Promotional advert by Cigars Intl. Regular price $125.07/20 sticks, (I have never payed that much for any cigar). I love box pressed cigars... they somehow have a better mouthfeel. Strength, though touted as mellow to medium, was more on the medium side. Burned well, with a little lopsidedness. Can't describe the subtle flavor nuances as I'm not an expert afficionado. I can tell you that paying $1.25 for a $6.25 cigar was quite a bargain.
Per the site teaser: CAO L’Anniversaire cigar line was developed in honor of 30th anniversary of CAO cigars. The Cameroon is an unforgettable blend with a great looking box-pressed shape. Made with reddish-brown Cameroon wrappers from Africa and premium Nicaraguan long-fillers and binders. Mellow to medium-bodied in taste.
I encourage everyone who wants to try some cigars, to actual go through their junk mail as these promos show up from time to time in those promo folders/adverts that look like the ones shoved in newspapers. Those who do not have the nationwide ID.me (Where when using that code get free shipping), will pay $7.99 more shipping for a total of 17.99/8 cigars → $2.25 each.
