Some of Zippos gifted Condor in an Aldo Velani 2012 POTY smooth 1/4 bent dublin with another mug of coffee. A couple more pics of our ride last Friday.

Did a set of walking reps on this hot and humid day, and though I still have back pain, it helped me a bit. Smoked a bowl of year 2021 Watch City Glass Slipper Micro-Batch in a post-2000 straight brown sandblasted Tom Eltang cherrywood with a black acrylic saddle stem.

Now smoking year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth, fumed top three quarter bend 1970s Peterson military mount meer with a nickel cap and a black vulcanite saddle stem. I've spent three months working to get out ghosts and carbon on this pipe, so I'm test running it with a blend I am very familiar with. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Now smoking Wilke No. 515 in a 1998 smooth straight Butz-Choquin Bistro 1501 pot with a black vulcanite saddle stem. This was the original 515 that Basil Rathbone smoked. The meer I smoked still has a light Lakeland ghost, so I'll work on it some more.

Waxing meerschaums is fun, but I always got a little residue after it cooled, so I'm going to try a different beeswax next time. Here is a picture of CAO Mark Twain before and after waxing.

Back from the ranch. Having SPC Mississippi RIver Special Reserve in a Design Berlin bent dublin. Ice water with some of Jim's bergs on the side. My day for finding broke things. Discovered the horse trailer emergency breakaway system not working. Dead battery and broken connector on battery so wasn't charging. Ordered new battery. Then came home to find a/c not working. Set it on 76 when we left this morning, got home to find it 85 in the house. Fan is working, so hoping it just needs freon. Time for some dinner.

My before dinner smoke was year 2021 unreleased Sutliff Black Virginia Flake in a late 80's, early 90s James Upshall P DS Tilshead England Made By Hand L185 Canadian with a silver band and a tapered black vulcanite stem.

Then, I had a wonderful salad, chicken legs and sugar snap peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. My drink is Community Coffee, neat. I've just under a third of a bowl left of year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. Been watching the Braves-Twins game.
