Bad news, I broke a nail and couldn't play today. Good news, I ran home and was able to open up the draw on the Bacchus meerschaum and replace the tenon. It's fifty years old and they still use the same parts! I've never bought a used pipe in such good outward appearance.

I was glad to find it separates into four pieces, and that allowed me to Dremel the shank open. I still have to repair my thumb nail, so I won't smoke it right away, but it is ready to go.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and green beans dinner with strawberries for dessert. I've a third of a bowl left of year 2021 KBV Your Welcome in a straight smooth dark brown 1930s (Comoy’s) Canadian Club 230 eight paneled billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Gong to work soon. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

Almost half way through this bowl of Watch City Queequeg’s Moby **** Series in a straight brown sandblasted post-WWII family era Sasieni “Canadian” London Made with a sterling silver band with a tapered black vulcanite twin bore stem. Spent time playing traffic cop between the ferals.

Last smoke of the day is 2018 Sutliff Walnut Match in a 1990s smooth brown medium bend briar calabash shaped Butz-Choquin Maitre Pipier JR Fait Main with a horn ferrule and a black vulcanite stem. Haven't smoked this pipe or tobacco in quite a while, so I figured it was time to change that.

Good morning my friends.
Was up extremely early this morning, as I continue to watch and enjoy the women's world cup. However, the time difference between us and the host country makes it difficult to watch all the games. I suppose I could record them. But I really like to watch them live.
And so.....what am I starting my smokes off with today?. I hear you ask. Well my friends I'm going to plug a bowl of Early Morning Pipe in a Petersons Atlantic 01. Brew a jug of Costa Rican. YES I did say Costa Rican, and YES it is coffee. But in truth I'm all tea'd out this morning 😕.
And with that I hope you all have a fantastic day.😊
