Enjoyed too short a nap, and am just finishing this bowl of year 2012 E-soterica Dunbar in a smooth straight, dark brown early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad.

Crazy & expensive day here, Wife's minivan would not start, I had it towed,Starter is shot, mechanic called to tell me putting a starter in a Chrysler minivan takes 2.5-3 hours because of the way it was designed, you have remove 6 or 7 other components to get to it. So 350 in labor to replace a 70 dollar starter! it gets worse...
I was driving my caddy to home depot to get a part for the leaky kitchen sink. I hit a pothole in the road,it wasn`t a large hole (there`s thousands of them here in NY) My car was riding funny after that. I drove it my mechanic who has the minivan. He just looked at the car as I drove in and said-you should've stayed in bed!
Apparently the pot hole blew out my airbag in the suspension system on the right rear. Air bags start at 450 each without labor.
I am smoking my Caminetto billiard with CAO Bella vanilla and a decaf k-cup and going to bed !

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, wild blue catfish and green beans dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm just finishing this bowl of Pfeifen Huber Virginia Golden Flake in a 1938 smooth straight brown patent Dunhill R 115 bowling ball apple with a tapered cumberland stem.

A quarter of a bowl left of year 2012 St. James Flake in a straight 1968 Dunhill Tanshell octagonal paneled EK F/T billiard with a square shank and tapered black vulcanite stem. Cleaned a few pipes, and have made a little progress on the two Mark Twain Petes, too. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

Just fed the ferals though I had to chase away that pesky possum first.

Good morning,
Starting my day day with a Poul Winslow Lovat with Stanwell vanilla and an 8 o`clock k-cup. I am looking at car rental companies on line, just in case the mini-van is not repaired today, I have to be at a wedding at 4 o`clock this afternoon and I need to be at work tomorrow morning at 6 am.

Good morning to all you BoBs. C&D Billy Budd in the Pete Pub with cowboy coffee. Trying to discourage the gnats. Rained yesterday so everything is wet. EZ, sorry about your travails buddy. Hope things get better soon. I know how you feel. Need to get the transmission fluid changed in the wife's Infinity. It's a sealed system with no dipstick or place for adding fluid and takes a special fitting to fill. $275. Ouch. However, it's over a 100K and still running great so I guess it's worth it.
