Codger bowl of PA in a Lorenzo Old Vic giant bent billiard with another mug of cowboy coffee. Heading out to the ranch soon for wife's riding lesson. Have a great day everyone
EZ, thoroughly understood your frustration. I remember the old days when we could fix our own cars. Afraid those days are gone unless you buy a classic, like a 62 Impala. Of course they don't have all the gizmos and gadgets of modern cars but do we really need all that? Owners manual says my Ram 1500 should have had the plugs changed at 30K. Has 47K now and running fine. Also dealer wants $800 to do it because the hemi has 16 plugs. Will wait till 50K and do it myself for $130, cost of the plugs. Lol.Smoking a Brebbia bent brandy with Capt. black royal and the last of my mornings coffee.Happily, I will get the mini-van back at noon! Mechanic told me I will not see my caddy until Wednesday night.-Waiting on parts-Holiday weekend, etc.
Ranger, I am very frustrated with these cars lately, poorly designed and overly complicated!
My wife wants to sell both these 10 year old cars and lease 2 cars, which solves the maintenance issues, but at what cost?
