Finally got some sleep, and am passing the half way mark on this bowl of Pfeifen Huber Virginia Golden Flake in a 1938 smooth straight brown patent Dunhill R 115 bowling ball apple with a tapered cumberland stem. Not far from watching the Braves-Pirates game.

Starting my second pipe early, GLP Charring Cross in a Rob Roy. I also loaded a Pride with GLP Kensington to keep me company while doing an outside project in a little while. Still working on the pot of Guatemalan Huehuetenango coffee I made earlier.
I figure with a name like 'Huehuetenango', then it's got to be good. Where might I find it? B)

Earlier today, I was able to open the Tabac Manil La Volute. The gold foil brick smell was, to me, almost addictive, as I kept going back to smell it. It was a slightly sweet, slightly naturally floral, definitely earthy smell unlike I've ever experienced. This 3.5 ounces filled a 1 pint wide mouthed ball jar and 3/4 of another jar just like it. I didn't even fluff the last of the brick as it was poured into the jar as chunks. I smoked a bowl in a Dutch GoedeWaagen Gouda clay with bit end coated with bees wax. It was tasty with some of the same tastes as the brick smell plus spicy and some others I can't quite nail down yet. The cut was about an eight inch wide some in chunky pieces and others longer pieces and pretty dry. That bowl didn't last very long, so had another in an MM Pride raw cob with forever stem. It seemed better with less heat. I didn't sense any strong nic hit and was not on an empty stomach. I would buy it again, and look forward to the next bowl in a a Kaywoodie briar. Note the writing on the label that says The Pipe Guys in NJ as importer. I'm glad those guys got this started in the USA. Sadly, their website seems to be inactive.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, wild caught cat fish and green beans dinner with a small bowl of vanilla bean ice cream for dessert. I'm close to finishing this bowl of year 2021 Watch City Glass Slipper Micro-Batch in a post-2000 straight brown sandblasted Tom Eltang cherrywood with a black acrylic saddle stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

Close to finishing the last of this healthy sample of year 2016 WarHorse Ready Cut in an undated straight sandblasted black Ropp Crystal billiard with a clear acrylic perspex saddle stem. One of these days, I'll pop open a first release tin. It's time to clean a few pipes.

In this episode of Jim's Smoking Life, Chapter 2,000,003, he fed all the ferals with no drama for a change, fed Sleepy Suzy and Molly Danger, unloaded the dishwasher, enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and finished that Archie and Friends story. He's half way through a bowl of year 2013 Stonehaven in a straight black sandblasted 1957 Barling Exel 249 Fossil T.V.F. black billiard with a silver banded military mount and a black ebonite tapered stem. Tune in later for more chapters in this exceptionally exciting life style  of the former fat guy. Your announcer was Edward G. Robinson. 🥱

I buy Fresh Roasted Coffee green beans and roast them in the rotisserie basket of a toaster oven. I think they sell roasted beans also and make a k-cup pod. We usually buy through Amazon but have also bought directly from their website.
