Be careful of the clip top sealers. They are okay for short term storage but mason jars are better and not much more expensive.
Thanks Ranger, I'm not using them for long term storage. They're for my immediate use, 6 months or less. I have no plans to cellar anything at the moment.

Now smoking year 2020 D&R Windsail in a smooth straight dark brown family era “Canadian” by Sasieni with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Working and listening to Tales of the Texas Rangers from my radio collection.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am smoking 2019 C&D Yorktown in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Terracotta 4AB No.108/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Finished drawing, and am editing and rewriting a book I am editing.

Good morning everybody ☺️
Going to have some Pete Early Morning pipe in a filligree billiard. I don't know who made this pipe, but it is an exceptional smoker, albeit a bit heavy with all the metal work. Fortunately I'm not a clencher, so it don't make much difference to me. A large pot of Yorkshire Tea on the side, and I wish you all a great day my friends 😊

Trip to have an ultrasound of my kidneys today, courtesy doctor's referral. Had peanut butter on raisin toast with my coffee and pipe this morning. Still breaking in my new acquisitions so I'm having MT in my Bones again this morning...and it actually is morning for a change. Have a good day guys.

I purchased a couple of pipes on eBay which arrived yesterday. One is this small BBB pipe, which was smaller than I anticipated (no dimensions in the description, so caveat emptor). But for $9.99 I wasn't risking much. I decided that it might be well suited for my shorter walks with Jacksie when he needs to relieve himself. So this morning I loaded it up with Mark Twain. It held a respectable amount of tobacco. Given the narrowness of the stem I was concerned about how well it would draw. But it smoked quite well, and my concerns about the pipe being too small were alleviated. In fact one benefit is that is very light and makes a fine clencher.

There are no such concerns over the other pipe which I plan to try out later and share with all y'all (I do live in Kentucky) later.

Good Afternoon my friends.
Seems like a filligree day today, so I've picked another from the racks, another billiard and unbranded, but exceptionally good smoker. I'm about to fill this with Rangers gifted Hobbit Weed and sit in the Garden, I'll need to put a jumper on though, seems a little chilly out there today.

Good Afternoon!
This morning I started with GLP Westminster in an Apple Diplomat and a moka pot of Ethiopian Yirgacheffe coffee. I was texting with a friend and researching vegetable gardening using landscape cloth. I was going to let him do some gardening here but he's lost without the plastic "cloth!" After a shower, trip to the grocery store and afternoon chores I'm enjoying GLP Kensington in a Pride and a cup of fresh pour over Ethiopian coffee.

Not far from finishing this bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Just fed four ferals, two of whom must have been waiting for quite a while since it's been raining for hours, and they are dry. Harry the Hairy was the most hungry. I gave him a cup of dry food, and he ate every speck of it. I gave him about two thirds of another cup, and he's working on that now. Sam the Scamp did well for himself, too. Daisy the Feral Princess and Tomato the Brave were inside as I let them in before I went to bed the second time this morning.

As my pipe collection is very modest, forgive me if my posts aren't very diverse in subject matter. Perhaps I can spice them up by including my pocket knives, as I have nearly 300 of those! Today's picks are my Dr.Grabow color Duke and my Great Eastern Cutlery 85 crownlifter. Smoking Sutliff match nightcap.

@Eutychus It's a nice little BBBilliard. The merits of smaller pipes are undeniable, a pity it isn't a Canadian that would make it nearly perfect for me. Enjoy!

@William Ziegler Caribou decalf coffee? Is this an inside joke or are you just being punny ;)

As you can see, I'm back from the clinic. Just finishing my morning pipe and I'll follow it with some C&D Oriental spice in the new Rossi Canadian, part of my last order. I picked up a Ronson butane refillable while I was out, and some more clip-top sealers for my recent purchase. I've owned one of these Ronson lighters before and they're not bad for the price, the tools are a bit of a joke but will do in a pinch.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am passing the quarter mark of this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star Gourmet Blend, neat, is my drink. No walks today due to rain.

Just fired up some Old Professor in my new Rossi Canadian. I can't get over how light this and my Rossi Lumberman are relative to their size. Very nice entry level pipes. I would only classify two of my pipes as higher quality, and none of them are premiums. but I love them all.
I really like Rossi pipes. My wife just bought me a Rossi Sera 8601 for our Anniversary last week

Looks great. Do you ever watch YT Knife Chats with Tobias?

A third of the way through this bowl of C&D Sansepolcro 2024 (Small Batch) in a medium bend 2001 Ural lattice Rhodesian with a yellow with white swirls acrylic saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Working on a review of this blend which goes on sale this Tuesday.

Singed, I think you are in Winn, me 240 miles S. in Fargo. There is a chain of coffee shops called Caribou that sell beans. Being Canadian the Caribou herd has migrated South and invested in coffee stock. 😊
