Passing the half way mark of this bowl of Wilke Picket’s Charge in a post-WW2 straight smooth brown pre-Republic Peterson’s Dublin 3 Shamrock bulldog with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. This blend is Wall Street with much less perique (10%) than the regular W.S.

Now smoking 2021 Watch City Simply VOriental in a straight smooth medium brown 1930s Wilshire 5 bulldog (Comoy’s second) made for John’s Pipe Shop in Los Angeles with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Listening to Gunsmoke from my radio collection.

Did a little low calorie snacking, and am smoking Wilke No. 72 in a pre-1974 dark brown straight Larus & Brother Co. Signature billiard with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem with the initials LCR on the top of the stem. This blend was smoked by Walter Cronkite. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Almost half way through this bowl of Wilke Surbrug’s Crystal Palace in a dark brown smooth straight post-WW2 LHS Certified Purex 79 bulldog with a nickel ferrule and tenon with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Finished the Archie story, and will do touch ups tomorrow. It's time to check on Sam and her babies.

Passing the quarter mark of this bowl of Watch City Queequeg’s Moby Dick Series in a medium bend black sandblasted IPSD 2016 Mark Tinsky book keeper 5 with a square shank and a black acrylic saddle stem with a cream colored accent. I let Sam the Scamp out, and brought her to the kitchen to eat. Oddly enough, it's the same food she has in the back bathroom, but she doesn't seem to want to eat unless she's out of there.

About a third of a bowl left of Wilke No. 515 Double Shot in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This is No. 515 with twice the rum of the Basil Rathbone blend. I may end the day with this smoke.

About an hour ago, I let Sam the Scamp out, and brought her to the kitchen to eat. Oddly enough, it's the same food she has in the back bathroom, but she doesn't seem to want to eat unless she's out of there. She did like taking a nap after I gave her a little rub. The babies are doing well. Tomato the Brave spent some time snoozin’, but not half as much as Daisy the Feral Princess. She wore herself out fighting a blanket. Abner the Eager was here this afternoon for his usual eat and snooze.

Harry the Hairy was here when I woke up today, and he ate and left. He and Abner came back at 4 a.m. in the rain to eat, and both wanted my attention, too. I let Abner in the house, dried him off, and then spent more time with Harry than usual because he was crying to me so pitifully. He did something he’s never done before, which was to mark my hand six times. Harry tried to sneak in the house, but I just couldn’t do that, the poor little fella. At least he has shelter outside.

Cool pipe, and I guess a cherrywood. I've been thinking of trying to make a cherrywood, since I have a big tree down. I have a little Ropp acorn that smokes great, and I'm hoping to get a smoke in it today. I've wondered about that blend, and almost got some last order.
Thanks Swede wasn't sure of the wood. Smoking it and a MM great dane and their both ball tearers (y) with some Rattrays Pro mix.

Close to finishing this bowl of year 2020 Angler's Dream in a 2018 natural smooth medium bend Peterson 03 apple silver spigot military mount with a tapered black acrylic fish tail stem. Been busy posting the feral story I posted here earlier along with more photos and two videos, too. Going to bed when this smoke is finished.

Good morning, BoBs. Setting up the Legend for a bowl o H&H with coffee. Cleaning the moka pot today so it's percolated coffee, smells good. Doing odds and ends around the place in preparation for season return, I won't find the time to do them once I'm back in a daily routine. BBL

Did some rummaging, sorting through clothes, etc. It's more a decision of what has become a rag and what I can still wear around the house. It's a spring tradition along with cleaning and repairs. I'm taking a break with a bowl of Mark Twain in my big Lorenzetti and some coffee.
