Some Sutliff vanilla custard in a smaller bowled Pete bent with a bloody mary. Sitting on the smoking deck of the American Legion post enjoying the view of Granite Mountain and Thumb Butte. Having our annual fund raiser poker run today and I have to MC the festivities this afternoon.

It was very good, but that might be a bit too ambitious for my limited blending skills, lol. More than 3 kinds of tobac confuses me.
Oh, you could do it easy enough, it's just portions of ready-made tobaccos. What I really meant by ambitious is the challenge of simply getting some of the ingredients, like the Astleys or having to special order from Peretti. Kind of makes Benediction seem more incredible since it's so easy to get the two ingredients!

Happy Sunday ! Today I start my day with a Peterson xl 90 Kinsdale pipe filled with a 50/50 blend of Lane 1q and BCA. A remarkably smooth combo that's very enjoyable and even the anti smokers don't complain about.
MAY GOD BLESS AMERICA.

Beautiful morning on the deck smoking MacBaren HH Old Dark Fired in a Missouri Meerschaum 150th anniversary “bully” cob. About 1 pipeful left and then I will be cracking a jar of Gawith Hoggarth Dark Plug!

Was able to get some blending done last night so back to my fav Urban Cowboy in a huge Don Carlos 2 note bent dublin with Costa Rican blend coffee. Quiet and peaceful this am but warm. High of 94 today with extreme heat warnings for the rest of the week. Highs around 100 for the next several days. May have to close up the house and go visit friends in a colder climate, like Chahallis, WA.

Sutliff Voodoo Queen in a Savinelli 677. Trying this with the new Savinelli 6mm charcoal filter thinking it might tame some of that Perique. Nope. First few minutes really cleared out my sinuses! So odd, I regularly smoke C&D Orion's Arrow which is 25% Perique, but something about the VQ always gets me. After those first few minutes, with a slow cadence, I enjoyed this enough to end the day on a positive note. But next time I might try adding a little of Sutliff's Mocha Slices, which is said to be part of this blend anyway, or maybe some TS-3 natural brown Cavendish.

Some Dunhill Nightcap acquired from Brunello months ago. Not a bad blend but can't say it's better than Balkan Supreme. Also thought the Dunhill Durbar was smoother. Honey bourbon on the side.

Finishing the last of a tin of MacBaren HH Old Dark Fired in a Savinelli Estella 511 KS. Starting my four, 10 hr work days this week. Our work does this every summer, and while it takes some getting used to, it is worth it to have every Friday of the summer off!

Hello,Smoking some Lane 1q in a viking classic that I just refurbished, I love eBay,where can you find a handmade pipe made in denmark in the 70`s for 20 bucks delivered! I find it a challenge to sand, stain and sanitize. The pipe I got yesterday was dinged and scratched and worn looking-Today,it looks brand new! Have a happy Monday!

On the deck enjoying a freshly popped jar of 2019 Gawith Hoggarth Dark Plug in a Charatan’s Make Authentic. Decaf coffee and good tunes for accompaniment. Plugs always age so well, and quickly too. Already a decent amount of crystals on the plug! It’s nowhere near as good as the Dark Plug from 2004 I finished up not long ago, but this has some spicy notes in the forefront that I am enjoying, not found in the older vintage. Oh….and the aroma is intoxicating!

Good morning, smoking some 7 seas regular in a new Stanwell pipe that was made in Italy, although not danish made,it seems to be a good pipe!

Chatham Manor in a MM volcano shaped cob. Whoever said this is similar to CH is out of their mind, this stuff sucks!
Oh gee. Have a couple oz. I got a few months ago but haven't tried. Based on your assessment/ opinion wonder if I should go dig it out or let it age some more? Some of my usual morning fare, CH in a Pete Rosslare with morning coffee.
