To answer your question, yes I have, quite a few. We actually had one that passed selection and joined us. For the Nepalese lads to join the Gurkha regiment takes a section process almost as stringent as UKSF. So for this lad this was quite a feat
I have also been attached to them on various campaigns. They are the happiest, most jovial, unassuming people. But also the amongst the most fearless soldiers in battle that I've ever known.

Gurkhas will be able to stay in the UK without needing to pay for a visa after their military service under a new government scheme. The cost of visa fees for all foreign nationals, who have served six years or more in the Armed Forces, has been waived.
