To answer your question, yes I have, quite a few. We actually had one that passed selection and joined us. For the Nepalese lads to join the Gurkha regiment takes a section process almost as stringent as UKSF. So for this lad this was quite a feat
I have also been attached to them on various campaigns. They are the happiest, most jovial, unassuming people. But also the amongst the most fearless soldiers in battle that I've ever known.

Gurkhas will be able to stay in the UK without needing to pay for a visa after their military service under a new government scheme. The cost of visa fees for all foreign nationals, who have served six years or more in the Armed Forces, has been waived.

That's a great tobacco. I usually get two tins and jar them right away. The more it sets the better it gets!

The kittens have claimed the living room and accepted Bella as their surrogate mother! After eating they have a burst of energy and play for an hour or two then sleep. They've stopped hissing at Winston, our dog, but haven't tried to play with him yet.

I really like that pipe Jim. The grain, the shine and the black stem. It's so plain but then it's not. I like medium billiards and apple shape pipes.

Cool, I'm glad I saw this! I just received my order from the CS yesterday. I got Cowboy Coffee and Hunting Creek. Last night I smoked a bowl of the Hunting Creek, it's great! Glad I bought a half pound. Now my question is, how is the Cowboy Coffee? I'm at work now and I'm going to burn a bowl when I get home. I smoke a lot of Pegasus and Winchester and recently been ripping through Crooner. How is the taste and room note of Cowboy Coffee? When I transferred it to the mason jar I was literally salivating from the jar aroma!

Did a set of walking reps under cloudy, humid skies, and am near the finish of this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Harry the Hairy is still here, and I had to bring Abner the Eager inside to eat as a result. He'll go back outside when he's done.

Enjoying a bright, sunny, slightly warm morning on the patio with the Mrs. Filled a 1960 DH ODA 836 Tanshell (like the EK but larger; octagonal bowl with square shank and stem) with 2009 P&C Larry's Blend. That and a mug of really dark, strong French Roast coffee got the ol' heart started up just fine!!!! FTRPLT

Earlier, I smoked a bowl of unreleased 2021 Sutliff Virginia Flake in a straight smooth brown walnut 1980s James Upshall P pot with a tapered black vulcanite stem.

After that, I enjoyed four big eggs, ham and cheese sandwiches with a regular size bowl of Raisin Bran, and a big and tasty golden delicious apple on the side for lunch. I'm half way through this bowl of year 2012 St. James Flake in a straight 1968 Dunhill Tanshell octagonal paneled EK F/T billiard with a square shank and tapered black vulcanite stem. Lavazza Classico, neat, is my drink. Watching the Twins-Guardians game.

I have a question for you, since you know a heck of a lot about pipes. I bought a Rattray's Brave Heart shape 153 about a month ago. I doesn't have any stamping indicating its national origin. Would you happen to know where those pipes are/were made? Mine was brand new, so it would seem to me that it was made recently. Any info you cold pass along would be appreciated.

As to pipe shapes, I have one apple (Savinelli Venere 207) and a lot of billards. I like the apple a lot, maybe because my Grandfather smoke Kaywoodie apples back in the day.
