Re the Pete small pipe. Only nomenclature I can find says Peterson sterling silver and a 20 on the side that says made in Ireland. It's a nice pipe, looks good, and smokes well, just too small for my liking. If anyone on here wants a small bowled Pete for short smokes, PM me and I will gift it.

Enjoyed tasty lunch, and am smoking Sutliff Walnut Match in an early smooth brown Radice Tiger Eye G medium bend bulldog with a bamboo-style carving on the shank with a two dot black acrylic stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Try smoking flakes in it. That'll make it last longer.

Now smoking Granger in a straight smooth medium brown post-1940s Comoy’s Tradition 110B billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Cleaning a few pipes.

I've been smoking coins of Mac Baren Latakia Roll Cake stuffed into a James Upshall Canadian S-Grade today while I work. The huge bowl on this pipe really works well for stuffing coins. I just give it light twist to fit it down in and then smoke it nice and slow. Drinking Portland water and coca-cola. Cheers!

Part way through this bowl of Wilke Peanut Butter in a 1980s black sandblasted slight bend Savory’s Argyll 281 Cherrywood with a black vulcanite tapered stem. This may get me to dinner time.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, wild caught catfish and sugar snap peas dinner with a couple of pancakes for dessert. I'm smoking year 2013 Stonehaven in a 2002 medium bend smooth brown Rinaldo EGEA 03 Silver line spigot 10 with a black acrylic saddle stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

Vajda, is this a heavy lat blend, i.e. more a balkan than english? Can you compare it to any other blends?

1/2 bowl of CH to break in my new Sav 606EX. Now have enough xtra large pipes, 8 or 9, now for my morning burley smoke. Now it's a search for older "classic" pipes. Looking at a 93 Comoy Xmas pipe on ebay. Can buy it now for $57. Anyone know if this is a fair price?

Close to finishing this bowl of Low Country Pipe & Cigar Natural Virginia & Burley in a 2020 straight black sandblasted Merchant Service “Bing” Standard with a nickel band and black vulcanite tapered stem. The rain finally showed up, and it's fierce! Daisy was on the deck, so I let her in. Dunno where the other feral cats are, but I couldn't let them in anyway because Suzy and Molly don't like other cats. Daisy stays out of their way when I do let her in, and doesn't cause trouble.

Vajda, is this a heavy lat blend, i.e. more a balkan than english? Can you compare it to any other blends?

It's not really like anything I've smoked before. The Dark Fired Kentucky dominates the Latakia for me, making it spicy, woody and smoky... and then the sweet Maple and grassy Virginia. I've had blends that are much more Latakia heavy, and this isn't what I'd call a Balkan or Oriental. Maybe American because of the DFK and Maple which are both newish to me. I quite like DFK but never really tried it before this year. You know what this blend reminds me of? Gentleman Jack or any good Tennessee Whiskey... sweet, sooty, smoky, tasty but not something I'd want every day.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of Watch City Simply VOriental in a straight smooth medium brown 1930s Wilshire 5 bulldog (Comoy’s second) made for John’s Pipe Shop in Los Angeles with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Still working.

Peretti Omega in a Ferndown Bark ** (Hand Made in England, Les Wood) with tapered brindle vulcanite stem. Nice English blend! This Ferndown is one of my favorite smokers. Just finishing some Henry Weinhard's Root Beer.

Trying Capstan Flake (Blue) first the 1st time in a Ferndown Bark ** (Hand Made in England, Les Wood) Bulldog-ish pipe with black vulcanite saddle stem. My favorite pipe for smoking a Virginia flake. Lovely smoke! Last smoke of the night.

Half way through my last smoke of the day, which is Wilke Peanut Butter and Chocolate in a light brown 1979 rusticated medium bend Italian Sir Jeffrey Dublin (GBD second) sitter with a flared top and yellow saddle stem. Have a few things to do before bed time.
