Good morning,
Smoking some Lane LL-7 in an English Dr. plumb billiard. This is the one of the few straight billiards that I own/enjoy.Basically bought as a beater pipe,but seems to be my go-to pipe lately.

A slight change, sort of, from my usual morning burley. C&D Billy Budd in a Pete system bent. The mesh of Lat, burley, and cigar leaf provide a strong but still mellow and smooth smoke with morning coffee. Liking this quite a bit. May order more.

Just finished smoking circa year 2000 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.

CS Merriwether in a relatively new Design Berlin Imperial bent dublin. Only my 3rd or 4th smoke in this one. A bit warm as it hasn't built any cake yet but should break in nicely. With my 3rd cup o joe.

Now smoking year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a black tapered vulcanite stem. Time to do some walking!

I'm not usually that fond of Lanes blends but I do have a sample of BCA I haven't tried yet. Might be time to go for it, lol.

Almost half way through this bowl of year 2000 Wessex Brigade Sovereign Curly Cut in a smooth straight Lane era Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Watching Mad Dog Russo.

Now smoking year 2013 Tilbury in a 2002 smooth Rinaldo Silver Line 3 EGER 05 paneled horn with a black acrylic stem. Cleaning a few pipes.

First smoke of the day is Ken Byron Ventures' The Patience of Doctor Silence in an unknown calabash gourd pipe with block meerschaum bowl, silver band, and a black vulcanite stem. I forgot to polish the silver on this when I worked on my other pipes. Anyways, I bought this pipe from a regular at Horse Brass Pub 15 years ago for $25 and I really love the shape and size.

Now smoking well aged Bald Headed Teacher in a medium brown, smooth octagonal paneled bowl and shank, medium bend 2016 Tim West Book Keeper 6 with a black acrylic saddle stem.

Haha! I sure do. I smoked nothing but cellared tobacco for the last coupla years, so I'm going kinda crazy with the sampling this year.

Smoking some Casey Jones in a Butz-choquin Rockbrune. I am usually not a big fan of French pipes,but this is a good sized bent pipe with thick walls and it smokes pretty good.

Sounds like you need an Extra Large Charatan's Make or a giant Ben Wade. I like the BWs Made In England -- I think they were made by Charatan at the time. Here's a good example: Ben Wade Large Blasted Dublin (44)/ Featherweight/ England/ MINT | eBay. 35 grams is very light for a pipe that big.

Now smoking Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation Evening Flake in a straight smooth brown 1950s Comoy’s Tradition 305 apple military mount with a sterling silver cap and a black tapered vulcanite stem.
