Good morning, fellow BOB. I haven't been on in a while, as I usually smoke my pipes in the winter, cigars in the summer and fall. Winter is definately here now! Rummaging thru my humidor last night came across a tin of Dunbar by Esoterica that I laid down in 2004. Filled my Dunhill #128 vintage 1922 and WOW. I like VaPers, but this was outstanding - best I have ever had. Looked online to buy some more tins, no luck. Open to suggestions.View attachment 23681
Outstanding! Nice to see you back!

Made some pie crust for pecan pie and apple pie tomorrow. Doing some Plum Pudding in an unknown maker rusticated lovat and chillin to the max. Water and bergs is my drink 😉
You're very lucky that I don't live near you, or all of those pies would have a home in my belly. :)

Now smoking year 2016 Peter Heinrichs Special Curly in the first pipe Trever Talbot made when he went to France many years ago. It's a smooth straight Algerian briar Lumberman with a long shank and a black vulcanite saddle stem, unbranded.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and have passed the quarter mark of this bowl of year 2014 HU Directors Cut in a very early Ascorti straight New Dear KS billiard with a carved shank and a black acrylic tapered stem. Watching Nova on PBS with Sleepy Suzy by my side.

I'm going to have some OJK in my Horn meer as a nightcap with some adulterated green tea. I've added some Original Krupnik, a honey liqueur from Poland. A good friend used to gift me a bottle at Christmas every year. Normally I would drink it plain lightly warmed but it tasted bitter this year for some reason, so I added it to tea to take the edge off it.I'm quite certain it used to be named Old Krupnik so there may have been some recipe shennanigans and an ownnership change, it really tasted very differently as little as five years ago. It's St Nicholas Day, so I put a candle in the window for children facing hardship. St. Nicholas is the patron saint of children. He helped provide homeless, abused, and orphaned children with shelter and food circa the fourth century. Sinterklaas and subsequently Santa Claus are alternate modern appellations for him. Have a good night, BoB! I will retire after this bowl and blow out the candles.

After a long day of driving in ugly rush hour traffic that Seattle is famous for I'm done for the day except for the dogs.
I'm going to smoke a bowl of Zurich in my Brebbia Go Go pipe while I walk them.
Sadly my friend Tom wasn't up to the grueling drive and had to turn around from meeting Bobby and head back to hospice. He was really bummed out. Still was amazing for Bobby to take time for him during his short time home during the season. I appreciate it more than he'll ever know.
Hug a friend BoBers. One day you won't be able to and hugs are the best.
