Just finished my second coffee and a bowl of Old Joe Krantz in my little Bones Dublin.

I just smoked my first bowl of Royal Yacht in my 1911 BBB. . I have to say, I was somewhat surprised by the strength of this tobacco. This tobacco would be better paired with a strong single malt - Talisker would be a good candidate.View attachment 25196
I really like that OOM-PAUL shape. Very nice!

Thanks,

Chris

Almost finished smoking year 2024 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Been busy feeding ferals except for the absent Abner the Eager.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am smoking year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Coffee from a freshly opened bag of Gold Star Jamaican Estate Reserve, neat, is my drink. Getting ready to clean a few pipes.

Farming has destroyed my holiday senses. My flora and fauna don't take holidays so I tend to miss a lot of them. Used to dream about them as a drone. Chores are done. And I'm working on my garden layout in the container. Vanilla latte by my side. Loading up my MM Iconic Legend with a dessert smoke.
Sutliff Black Vanilla topped with Mac Baren Vanilla Cake Rolls and some leftover Bob's Chocolate Flake from yesterday.

Earlier, I smoked a bowl of year 2008 Astley’s No. 109 Medium Flake in a straight black 1963 Dunhill LB Shell 4S billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem.

Then, I smoked a bowl of year 2014 Dan Tobacco Hamborger Veermaster in a smooth straight brown 1950 Dunhill 48 bulldog group 4 root briar with a black vulcanite fish tail saddle stem.

Currently, I am near the last quarter of this bowl of year 2021 first production Watch City Simply Orange Virginia in a black sandblast medium bend Peterson POTY 4AB No. 182/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem.

Trying to get back in the swing of things.
Picking up on smoking through the Sutliff alphabet of my tobacco. Last up before I left for Iowa was Flying Dutchman.
Now I'm loading a Tinderbox Monza. A big old honking pipe with Fox and Hound while I watch A Writers Odessy. Totally silly Chinese sci-fi movie with crazy funny special effects.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, wild caught cat fish and sugar snap peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm near the half way mark of this bowl of year 2014 Full Virginia Flake in a straight 1968 Dunhill Shell bulldog with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Abner the Eager was hear for a few hours for food and snooze, and after that, he wanted out. As cold as it is with a ice/snow storm warning in the forecast, I wonder if he'll come back before it hits us. Getting ready to watch the new Thomas Jefferson series on The History Channel.

Preceeded by Hamborger Veermaster and No. 109, quite the Virginia Flake day!
Well, I switched since then. I smoked a bowl of Dunhill London mixture, and am now smoking year 2018 Solani 633 in a straight 1954 patent Dunhill 148 Group 3 black shell bulldog made for the France market with a black saddle vulcanite stem. Watching a documentary about Amelia Earhart with Tomato the Brave by my side. Daisy the Feral Princess is snoozin' on her blue blanket.

Started the day with CBO in the Re-Gent. On my second cuppa with a bowl of Haunted Bookshop in my little Bones Dublin.

PS: Anyone interested in sending +1 or +2 degrees of warm temperature in exchange for -1 degree of cold temperature I would be grateful. It's -21F this morning and I'm sick of our cold snap, going on ten days like this now.🥶 Even snow would be welcome, it comes with warmer temperatures than this.
