Wanted a burley for the morning, but wanted one with some heft. Old Joe Krantz in my Neerup. Cappuccino with almond milk on the side - didn’t feel like black coffee this morning. Cloudy, but nice out.

Casey Jones Heros Blend in a Sasieni made Stanford bent rhodesian with 8 o'clock coffee, made strong. Listening to Xmas music on Pandora while watching the birdies play. The doves took over for a while but have left for now.

About a third of a bowl left from a first production tin (2013) of Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am close to finishing this bowl of Wilke No. 515 in a smooth dark brown medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a vulcanite black tapered AB stem. This was the blend Basil Rathbone smoked. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Just posted a bunch of KBV and Sutliff reviews at TR. Steady rain canceled my walks for the day so I had the time to post.

A third of the way through this bowl of first release Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth natural medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a vulcanite black tapered AB stem.

Today I've been bouncing back and forth between G. L. Pease Charring Cross and G&H Balkan Mixture, each fill in a cleaned and rested cob. The snow began just after noon and is expected to continue though tomorrow morning. The housework is done, a 5 pound chicken is roasting, and I have plenty of tobacco. "Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!"

Part way through this bowl of F&T Waterloo No. 2 Mixture in a 2002 Ser Jacopo Delecta Fatta A Mano R1 sandblast Rhodesian with a smooth extension at the shank with a military mount and a black acrylic tapered stem.

Where the heck did you find a 5 lb chicken?? Lol.

My 3rd attempt at making Sutliff Voodoo Queen smokeable. Equal parts VQ and Neuminster Navy Flake with a couple pinches of blending latakia. Better but no cigar. Tired of messing around with it. If anyone on here likes it, wants it. PM me and it's yours. I have a whole lb of it. Otherwise, it's garden mulch.

About a third of a bowl left of year 2016 Sutliff 507-C Slices in a black sandblast PSB medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY 4AB No. 228/500 military mount with a silver cap and a vulcanite black tapered AB stem.

Half way through this bowl of year 2014 Sutliff 1849 in a medium bend smooth dark brown 1968 Barling 5631 London England TVF billiard silver spigot with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Watching Chapter Ten of Batman and Robin.

We raise our table birds. The basic supermarket chicken is a Cornish Cross, 6 pounds in six weeks, stringy and tasteless. Heritage breeds, especially Dorkings and Delawares, 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 pounds in nineteen weeks. Nice dense flavorful birds, it's possible that the Dorking was described in 300 BC it a Roman culinary scroll. This was a Slow Cornish, I also raised Red Broilers, both from Privett Hatchery, 4 1/2 to almost 7 pounds in 11 weeks. The Reds are better than the Cornish in our opinion, both out shine the supermarket chickens!

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken parmesan and sugar snap peas dinner with a slice of pecan pie, and small scoop of vanilla bean ice cream for dessert. I'm not far from finishing this bowl of year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

Close to finishing this bowl from a first production tin (2013) of Edward G. Couldn't sleep, so I'm smoking. :) A very logical solution. :)
