Zip, sounds like an English version of SWR Aromatic? Maybe try it in a cob?Rattrays Royal Albert in a Petersons Standard system 314. This is a new tobacco for me. One that Mrs Z surprised me with. Its a mixture of Black Cavendish, Burley & Virginia. With a topping of Orange, honey, & vanilla. The aroma when opening the tin was very citrusy. But I couldn't detect the honey or vanilla. It did seem excessively moist, and took a few lights to get it going. I will tray this up on a paper towel, and let it dry for a while. However, and I'm not sure it didn't fit with the pipe, it burnt like a volcano. I'll try it again in a different pipe, once it's dried a bit. But I can definitely taste the citrus, feels like I've just eaten a very large orange, with the skin on.
Thanks Buddy I willZip, sounds like an English version of SWR Aromatic? Maybe try it in a cob?
The difference between the Red and the Gold varieties is that Yorkshire gold has a milder and finer taste. With that said, Yorkshire Red is a great high-quality tea blend. I drink the Red, as I like the strength. But way to go Ranger Buddy, your be wanting a bowler hat, pin stripe suit and umbrella nextJust ordered Yorkshire tea, Red and Gold. Hope it's the right stuff, lol.
Have the bowler hat and umbrella. Haven't worn a suit in 6 years since I retired, lol.The difference between the Red and the Gold varieties is that Yorkshire gold has a milder and finer taste.
