Good morning everybody. Today I'm going to start with a large bowl of Rangers awesome Hobbit Weed in a Savinelli Author. And a large Starbucks sized cappuccino on the side. The sun is out today in Merry olde England. Raising the temp a little. However it still ain't no tee-shirt and shorts weather, but still rather pleasant. Have a great day ya'll.

PS Luxury Navy Flake in a little 1.25 x .6 inch ID El morjane algerian briar. I decided to test this little $5 pipe with some Flake, and it is doing well. For the price quality ratio, I don't think you could go wrong on these and could see it even contending with a cob. It amazes me that briar can be so all encompassing for smoking tobacco. What a wonderful plant product. Whoever discovered this should have won a Nobel Prize 😉.

Just fired up a quick bowl of Haunted Bookshop in the Vauen quarter bent billiard. I truly cannot understand the number of reviews saying this tastes like a cigarette/ashtray. It's so sweet, flavorful, and even a little fruity. If I had ever found a cigarette that tasted like that, I might still be smoking them. Now I need to try out the cake version

I actually wonder if it is the room note that does that. I've noticed it and the same from PA.

About half way through this bowl of year 2016 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.

Good morning BoBs. Woke up to 8" of new snow. It's a real winter wonderland. So started my day by clearing a patch of turf for the doggies to pee on, snowblowing the driveway and the neighbor lady's sidewalk since her hubby is laid up. Finally settled down on the patio with a bowl of Urban Cowboy in a Sav Hercules 606EX bent billiard and a big mug of cowboy coffee. Thank goodness we don't have to be anywhere today so it's a watch movies day in front of the fireplace. Lol.

About to fire up a bowl of Kendall Kentucky in the Vauen quarter bent billiard. This is a tobacco that doesn't try to be anything but a straightforward, good quality tobacco, and I love it for that.

Was about to pull the trigger on an AKB "calabash" shape pipe on Smokingpipes.eu that had been on the site for ages, and someone bought it while it was in my cart :(

Close to finishing this bowl of year 2015 John Aylesbury Sir John’s Flake Virginia in a straight smooth light brown 2020 Ryan Alden Ace of Spades squat bulldog with a spalted pecan top and ferrule that’s on the tapered black acrylic stem.

Love that pipe Jim 🤩

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am nearing the half way mark on this bowl of year 2012 Esoterica Dunbar in a smooth straight, dark brown early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Lavazza Espresso, neat, is my drink.

I took a Pride filled wit Peretti's Boston's Best Cavendish on our grocery shopping trip and am sitting back to finish it now that everything is put away!

Ranger, nice winterscapes!
Bali,

I have seen many of your posts on BoB, and I get the impression that you are a big fan of cobs. I've had two of the straight Legends, but I don't like their limited bowl capacity. So, I ordered one of their Southport Ferry Mans Yesterday. Have y9ou ever bought/smoked one of them? I would be interested in your opinion of them.

Thanks,

Carl

Did a second set of walking reps, and smoked a bowl of year 2015 D&R A.B. Rimboche in an undated slight bend, smooth flame grain Wessex Standard egg with a brown accent on the black vulcanite saddle stem.

I've a third of a bowl left of Sutliff Private Stock Hill of Slane (Limited Edition) in a medium bend fumed tan crackled year 2020 Ahmet Govem reverse calabash meerschaum with a military mount silver band and black acrylic stem. Working on a review of this blend. This goes on sale March 10.
