Haven't seen Shy Stripesy in a few days. I'm smoking year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite saddle stem. May end the day with this smoke.

Good Morning!
I took a Rob Roy filled with Kensington on a quick errand to Portsmouth. Now that both are finished I'm sitting back with Drucquer Levant in an MM Patriot and the rest of my not so warm morning coffee.

When I was in the 10th grade Mass General diagnosed me with low blood sugar, the doctor told my mother that a glass of wine with dinner might be helpful. She was Italian so that meant Chianti in a juice glass. The first time I had expensive wine in a real wine glass was when the Headmaster treated the debate team to dinner on the way home from a tournament and ordered wine for the table. Try that today!

Good morning all. My go to Urban Cowboy in the Lorenzo Old Vic giant bent billiard. Hot black Costa Rican coffee aside. Woke up around 2:30 to gale force winds. I estimated 50 to 60 mph, maybe higher. Calmed down now but still gusting to 20. Glad I took down the feeders or they would have been in the next county.

But once again I digress.

Now smoking the last bowl of my stash of tins of year Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. The only tin I am keeping is the first one off the production line when Sutliff put the tins on the market. I'll be smoking EGR from tubs as of tomorrow.

That is a nice figurine. Wish my wife could find things like that. Probably the way I would have looked if I had been a Ranger back in 1901, lol.

I bought mine in 1979 from my local Tinderbox, so it is likely older than I date it. They were selling this Stanwell model at half price: $14.00. Wish I had bought more than one, but this was the shape that spoke most to me. Until the last couple of years when I acquired a great many pipes, it was one of my most often smoked pipes.

Second bowl is CH in the Pete Pub with another big mug of coffee. This is smoking really well. Just wish they made it in a fishtail. Can't figure out what's up with the metal stinger? Doesn't seem to restrict the draw any. Swede, do yours all have it? Would removing it do anything? Have a great day BoBs.

Not far from finishing this bowl of year 2014 Sutliff 1849 in a medium bend smooth dark brown 1968 Barling 5631 London England TVF billiard silver spigot with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Walks are rained out for now. Watching Mad Dog Russo yelling as only he can do.

I had a fun chat with the Propane driver, it's the last delivery of our prebuy. I filled a Pride 5th. Ave. with Peretti's Tashkent any took off to the animal and peoples feed stores. Time to put together a rabbit cage!

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am finishing this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Larry's El Salvador Dali, neat, is my drink.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of Pfeifen Huber Virginia Golden Flake in a 1938 smooth straight brown patent Dunhill R 115 bowling ball apple with a tapered cumberland stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Mine are the standard system, so only a plastic section of the lower stem goes down into the the tenon just above the moisture reservoir. You might have more like what a deluxe system pipe has that is a removable metal extension that screws out for cleaning. I don't get any restriction. I bet removing it would open up the draw some.
