Relaxing after a wonderful salad, rainbow trout and sugar snap peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm almost half way through this bowl of year 2013 E-soterica Tilbury in a smooth medium bend 1999 Peterson Sherlock Holmes Series Milverton with a sterling silver band and a black vulcanite p-lip stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Cleaning a few pipes.

Just finished smoking first release Watch City Rhythm & Blues in an undated straight smooth brown Crosby Saint Andrews “Merchant Service-like Bing” with a silverish band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Have a little more work to do.

Nearing the half way mark on this bowl of Wilke No. 515 Double Shot in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This is No. 515 with twice the rum of the Basil Rathbone blend. If I get all the things that I want to get done, I'll end the day with this smoke.

Good Morning!
This morning I'm taking an MM C&D Charles Towne Cobbler on it's maiden smoke, I chose GLP Charring Cross as the tobacco. Growing up in Greater Boston, Charlestown was considered an Irish slum. Hopefully that's not a foreshadowing of the pipe!

been sick for over a week, still feel lousy
If it's not Covid it might be RSV. My wife and I both had it a month or so ago. She works at a hospital so we're at the forefront of contracting viruses especially after the great masking era that weakened everyone's immune system. Call in sick and try to enjoy the day!

Good morning guys. Starting my day with Hobbits Weed in a Don Carlos bent brandy and a big mug of cowboy coffee. EZ, sorry you're feeling lousy buddy. Follow Bali's advice, call in sick and rest up. I caught these guys, a herd of prong horns, on the way to the ranch yesterday. Camera not good enough to catch the whole herd. There are maybe 50 or 60 that roam this area because it's ranchland and no hunting. As I got to the fence they started to scatter. The big guy looking back must be the alpha buck as he was pushing the others. Also got a rare glimpse of a Western Jay in the feeder this morning. They are skittish and don't come to the feeders often. Have a good day my friends.

A quarter of the way through my first bowl out of a freshly opened circa early 2000s tub of year 2016 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. The tobacco is still fresh and fairly moist, sort of like some forum members.

It has been several moons with no pipe for me due to weather et al; trap league opened and the weather warmed considerably. I was able to shoot my A.H. Fox trap gun c. 1924 which I acquired last fall but needed some trigger work; first time out with it since. I filled my S.H. Moran with some Figgy Pudding for a nice smoke at the range. Ahhh...
