Continuing with another filigree pipe, another great smoker, but one I know nothing about. Anyway I'm plugging it with some American Blend Caribbean Coconut. This tobacco tastes a lot better than it sounds lol. A large mug of Colombian coffee on the side, while watching 3 squirrels chase each other through the trees
Hello Zippo: Many thanks for sharing this interesting pipe. To me, with it's intricate, filigree decoration, it has a Balkan appearance. The double headed eagle could be Serbian or Albanian.

After an early morning breakfast, I sat cradling My Mastro de Paja, plugged with Capstan Navy Flake and started musing about the relationship we have with the pipes we smoke. While they are inanimate objects, they do have very individual designs that project a personality. A personality that many times can reflect the mood we find ourselves in when we smoke them. If I am in a very laid-back mood, with plenty of time on my hands or spending a long evening with friends, then I will usually opt for the giant Ashton or large Ferndown. Their size alone speaks of serious purpose-nothing trivial for them. For a short tour of the orchard and live stock, I will smoke the Dunhill. Its short, squat, rugged, masculine appearance and sand blasted, rustic finish is in keeping with the business at hand. Some pipes are smoked in rotation. However, if there is a special occasion then I will usually opt for a showier sterling silver pipe like the one I am now smoking.

Pipe smokers are a different breed than cigar and cigarette smokers who discard their butts along with cardboard coffee cups. The pipe smoker will cherish and care for his fine briar pipe, because there is a fond sentiment attached to something he spends many of his thoughtful interludes with. Furthermore, he knows that it will provide a lifetime of relaxing enjoyment.

Very well put Surrey, and very eloquent.
Dang I wished I could write like that. I think you and Jiminks should collaborate on a BoBs book. 😊

Just passing the quarter mark on this bowl of year 2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Enjoyed a tall stack of cinnamon raisin French toast with a sliced Envy apple and pineapple chunks on the side. I've just over a third of a bowl left of year 2001 VaPer Three Nuns in a 1938 straight black grain relief Dunhill OX Shell bulldog with a silver band repair with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Gold Star Nightwish, neat, is my drink. Watching an episode of McCloud.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2016 Sutliff 507-C Slices in a black sandblast PSB medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY 4AB No. 228/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem

Another busy workday, but I was able to enjoy some PS Luxury Bullseye Flake in a cob. The coins were so dark you couldn’t see the bullseye anymore. Normally that would make me happy, but I was missing G&H Rum Flake and Dark Bird’s Eye. I’ve got issues pipe people!

Additionally, I purchased another Peterson Pub pipe...pipe #4. I blame JimInk’s because of his collection of Pete POTY 4AB’s. My justification: I didn’t have a coveted 1% PSB. Ranger, if you are reading this make sure you wait for a House Pipe with the PSB rating. They are top quality and much lighter than the typical sandblasted pipe.

Surrey, your posts are most enjoyable. I felt like I was in the barn watching the wordsmith and his cat interact on the tractor. I sensed the smell of hay, feed, grease, and heard the mechanical sound of the tractor’s foot pedals. You have a gift.

Enjoyed a wonderful salad, chicken legs and green beans dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm a third of the way through this bowl of year 2020 Mac Baren Scottish Mixture in a straight, smooth brown 1960s Lane era Charatan Special 38 bulldog with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Community Coffeem neat, is my drink. Going to work in a few minutes.

Good morning,
Smoking a Bari bent Rhodesian with MB 7 seas regular and a Newmans k-cup, Going to work early today to get it done and over with, told cleaning staff 7 am this morning.
When I got to work last night, I overheard a commotion in the kitchen,My ***** boss was yelling at his new chef, chef Tom as he needs to be called was so drunk he could barely stand. I almost wet my pants laughing . the party was for 120 people and nothing was prepared,I simply went back out with the cleaning crew and got the room ready for the guests. Here`s the funny part,if he had the Humility to come to me for help, I would have bailed him out,but his ego is to big for that!

Hey Sid what are the beads on the table?

This is Kompoloi, a Greek item as a personal companion which shows many things about your character. All mine are not ''as is'' but modified. Has nothing to do with Finger Fidget and relatine things.
