Shopping went well, not one pain in the *** and happy cashiers! Time to relax with some MB Symphony in an MM Pride. The temp's dropped from 19° to 10° since we left!
We're totally gluten free, my wife has adjusted all her old recipes and added in some new ones. Walnuts have a better fat profile than pecans, I snack on a handful a day!gluten free at the wife's request and walnuts instead of pecans because I don't really care for pecans
Most of those reviews are for the McClelland version of BHT. Mine is. I haven't tried the version you're smoking, but I know it's not the same as what I've been used to.Bald Headed Teacher in a MM cob with more coffee. I'm just trying to burn this up and be rid of it. I just don't get all the 4 star reviews. I don't taste any Latakia at all, and as a burley blend it's just boring. I would rather smoke CH or SWR. For a light Lat blend Shepherds Pie beats it by a mile.
Didn't know it had changed. I don't think you would give this version 3&1/2 stars. Most of those reviews are for the McClelland version of BHT. Mine is. I haven't tried the version you're smoking, but I know it's not the same as what I've been used to.
It got above freezing before noon the last few days here, so I better iron my speedos! Bengal slices in a mostly unmarked pipe I picked up at an antique shop last week (there are hallmarks on the ferrule but I haven't looked them up yet). For breakfast, pecan bars I made last night, gluten free at the wife's request and walnuts instead of pecans because I don't really care for pecans lol! View attachment 7931View attachment 7932
Probably not. If you don't want the rest, I'd love to review it.Didn't know it had changed. I don't think you would give this version 3&1/2 stars.
The crust came out a little thicker than I like so I made that note for next time. I just subbed 3 cups of Red Mill gluten free flour with 3/4 tsp. of xantham gum instead of regular flour. I also added 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract to the crust and filling plus 1/4 tsp. almond extract and some cinnamon to just the filling because I thought it needed something lol. It's king Arthur's recipe I just pulled from online if the pictures don't come through! You got a recipe for those? They look good
