A third of a bowl left of Ken Byron Ventures Mr. Christian’s Brown Flek 2021 in a 1984 smooth brown full bend Peterson Mark Twain military mount egg with a silver cap and tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Tomato the Brave was on my lap until now.

A rough couple of days business-wise -I've been flat chat, as Aussiemike might say. Finally able to relax with a pipe and drink. Smoking a Lane era Charatan smooth poker stuffed with GPL Odyssey, since I felt like Odysseus on a long strange trip of late. The Dead is playing in the background to complete the mood. A nice Guinness pour makes tonight complete.

Enjoyed four half pound cheeseburgers with some hand cut fries, and ten mini-chocolate eclairs, a golden delicious apple and unsalted peanuts for dessert. I'm half way through this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star mmmMocha, neat, is my drink.

A sales man came to the door a couple of minutes ago. While I declined the offer, he was struck by the beauty of the 4AB, and we had a short conversation about the pipe. He asked if they were still for sale, and I broke the bad news to him. I'll bet he watches the Rathbone Holmes movies to check the pipe out.

Enjoyed a tasty Snap Dragon apple, and am smoking a bowl from a freshly opened bag of year 2012 Esoterica Dorchester in a straight smooth brown 1920s KBB Rocky Briar 1582 patent no.298978 with a B in a circle bulldog with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Now smoking Wilke No. 515 Double Shot in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This is No. 515 with twice the rum of the Basil Rathbone blend. Never got to cleaning pipes because I spent time feeding the ferals. Sleepy Suzy is eating now, and Molly Danger ate in the bedroom. After Suzy eats, I'll let Tomato the Brave in to eat. I also unloaded the dishwasher, and loaded it up back up again since m'lady did a lot of cooking today. Gonna get to those pipes soon. I may end the day with this smoke as well.

This morning I've got a load of C&D Irish Blessing in a Missouri Meerschaum "General" corncob with my new forever acrylic stem attached - what a difference a quality stem makes. Tastes like I'm smoking Whiskey liquer. Problem is I picked the longest, widest stem sold, a mean 3.75"/ 9.5cm which makes for a total length of 5 3/8" / 12.7 cm from start of shank to end of bit. Got to watch where I'm going, lest I bump into something.

Morning pipe today is Granger in the Cobbler. Coffee at hand, mulling over the impact of Canada Post strike. TP likely stopped accepting international orders because of it, I sincerely doubt they will resume after the strike ends, especially if they are closing up shop. And there will certainly be another strike next year before the Christmas Holidays. It's as predictable as the annual federal budget - some calendars actually have it marked: "Postal strike due".

Yeah, I'm salty today. I have three orders for Christmas that are locked up by the strike, two of them gifts. One from the states and one from British Columbia. Anyway, this is turning into a rubber room rant, I'll enjoy my coffee and return in a better frame of mind. Have a good day guys! Thanks for letting me vent.

Now it's where it should be.

A sprinkle of snow like powdered sugar this morning.

Half way through this bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Just fed all of the ferals, and Sleepy Suzy, too. Molly Danger's already eaten.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am smoking year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star mmmMocha, neat, is my drink. Watching The Lone Ranger. One of my favorite character actors, Pierre Watkin, is in this episode with an obvious wig and fake beard and mustache.

Earlier this afternoon I loaded a bent MM Let Freedom Ring with Sutliff 515 RC-1 Matured Virginia and made a fresh cup of coffee. Just as I was ready to enjoy them and post a friend showed up. We chatted for a while and after he left I continued with the pipe while cleaning up my grow room. That pipes done and it's time to put in the ducks and heat up dinner.
