I combined two posts more for the feral drama than for my smokes.

Half way through this bowl of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite saddle stem. I looked out the back window before I opened the door, and to my surprise, all four ferals were standing near each other waiting for me, and not fighting. Usually, Abner the Eager is picked on the most, but there he was sitting on the doormat looking up at me. I brought him in first so he could eat in peace. After that, I let the others in. Harry the Hairy ate and is half asleep on the cat tree. Daisy the Feral Princess and Tomato the Brave are in the kitchen, probably waiting for wet food. They are the only ferals who get that, which is twice a day. Abner is hiding behind m'lady's chair where nobody is likely to bother him.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and have passed the quarter mark of this bowl of year 2013 Esoterica Tilbury in a smooth medium bend 1999 Peterson Sherlock Holmes Series Milverton with a sterling silver band and a black vulcanite p-lip stem. Tomato the Brave got rambunctious. I got down on the floor looking for a book I wanted to read, and he grabbed the top of my head, and starting chewing on my hair. He's never done anything like that before. A few minutes later, Abner the Eager was walking to the kitchen, and Tomato went after him. I got between them, and scolded Tomato, and he ran to the couch. Abner was very scared, and I spent a little time comforting him before I put him on the top of my chair. Then, I fed Daisy the Feral Princess and Tomato their wet food. I had to stand guard so Harry the Hairy would leave them alone. As soon as he finished eating, Tomato ran to the back door, and I let him out. All is quiet now, so I'm going to read for a bit.

I'm seeing fewer posts lately. You guys run out of tobacco or were you just run out of the house?

I've just been so busy, there is not enough time for a bowl without rushing. I'm always outside, so only serious rain stops that. That first bowl is even sweeter after a short hiatus. Today, I'll make up for lost time.

I haven't had a great deal of time for posting, as we have been hit again by the dreaded flooding, made even worse by this weekends "Storm Bert". A stupid name for a storm, that has caused so much damage all across the UK.
But I do have just about time to smoke a bowl of my Beloved Hobbit Weed in a Rattrays Dark Reign before getting on with my job of serving tea, and Mrs Zs home made sandwiches, to the village cleaner uppers.
I hope each and everyone of you have a great day my friends.

I'm seeing fewer posts lately. You guys run out of tobacco or were you just run out of the house?

I smoke primarily on my way to and from work. This is because I don't have a place to smoke indoors at home and it routinely gets very windy here. Windy enough outside that smoking a pipe is impossible and standing outside is very unpleasant.
I sincerely wish I had a place to enjoy a pipe without A- smelling up my car to the chagrin of my poor wife, or B- braving the elements of snow and wind like I'm some Ernest Shackleton wannabe.
This morning I had a bowl of C&D Byzantium in my beater mm cob. Up until this point, I have not been partial to the C&D blends I have tried and it caused me to write off C&D as a blender of tobacco. I thought I just didn't like the tune they were whistling as far as tobacco blending was concerned. This is where that trend ends. Byzantium is a great smoke and I'm happy to have found it.
Happy Monday, time to start fasting in preparation for the whale of a meal I'm going to cook at Thanksgiving.

Passing the first third of this bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Fed the ferals, and my cats. The temperature has dropped, so I'm deciding on what jacket to wear when I walk. This is the kind of heavy executive decisions that decide the fate of the world.

Lynda wanted to do our food shopping and buy some Christmas decorations so we went to the big box store. I took a bent MM Missouri Pride filled with GLP Westminster along for the ride. When we got back, put everything away and did noon chores I opened the tree topper to install batteries and found out it was a plug-in. Back to the store for an exchange and now we have the battery version!
