Relaxing after a wonderful salad, haddock and snow peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm smoking year 2016 Sutliff 507-C Slices in a black sandblast PSB medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY 4AB No. 228/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Had a very busy day, smoked a lot of tobacco, and had a great off-diet lunch. A friend tied up my computer time downloading stuff onto a thumb drive. I'm way behind on the forums and my Facebook page.

View attachment 24082The company I worked for in the 2000s was Omaha based, where Gibby was from and lived. Bob Gibson’s annual golf tournament was as big as the College World Series in the Big O at the time. My best memory was golfing with Sandy Koufax, the nicest gentleman I think I’ve ever met. My worst memory was meeting Gibby who was sitting next to Earl Wilson, a key Tiger from the 68 World Series. I made the mistake of mentioning 1968. Earl tried to warn me off and then Bob Gibson gave me a death stare of death stares and told me to get the eff out of here, which I did post haste.

Well I guess one more won't hurt. That Brown Irish Twist this morning was Hella strong like have a seat strong and Haunted Bookshop was a bit brusque on an empty stomach. Just fixed that.
I just went all @JimInks and ate a whole Costco roast chicken, 1/2 sausage and cheese grinder, sweet potato fries and a serious amount of tapioca pudding with maple syrup on it. All topped off with 4 glasses of milk.
I'm going to fill up my MM cob with Black Vanilla and pass out.

Been busy, and unable to post as a result. Been smoking, feeding cats, etc. I've passed the half way mark of this bowl of Seattle Pipe Club Give Me Liberty in a straight smooth medium brown pre-1920 straight Marechal Ruchon & Cie. Royale apple with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Have enough for one more bowl.

CH in the Re-Gent this morning with my coffee. Going to ski the track on Sunday and let the crew know where the faults lie. Our course assistant superintendent is very eager to learn and he has taken the trouble to research the recommended reading for trail maintenance I offered him. It's a matter of experience for him now. I have to admit, his work ethic impresses me.

Forgot a post in limbo again... I'm trying Bayou Morning from C&D in my Savinelli Dublin with my second coffee this morning. It's been in storage for a few months, I didn't have enough jars to put it on shelf when it arrived. More jars coming and then I'll hold fast. 20+ blends of tobacco on the go should be enough to keep me out of trouble...for a while.;)
