Finally recovered from nasty food poisoning. Celebrating my recovery with a WO Larsen sandblasted freehand filled with Eddy G-Rob. I feel guilty smoking soon to be dc’d EGR in a Danish pipe after the Danes at STG announced the gutting of Mac Baren.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and sugar snap peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm a quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2013 Rotary Navy Cut in a post-1938 Pre-Republic Peterson Dublin straight smooth X155 bulldog with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Nigel Bruce smoked this model in two Sherlock Holmes movies. Please consider asking Shane Ireland at Smoking Pipes and Peterson to bring the pipe back into production. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

First smoke of the day. Charatan Coins in a BBB estate pipe. Cleaned up nicely and a great smoker. Watching 'The Lone Ranger' on Pluto and knocking back a big glass of milk.
The rain is relentless and thwarts me on almost every task. Probably wouldn't be so bad if the dogs would stop getting so dirty. Couple of showers a day is wearing me out.
And my chickens have gone crazy laying eggs. I usually start selling eggs in March. Not ready for the bounty yet. Time to make a food bank happy for a couple of weeks. Can't hurt my Karma.😁

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and have passed the quarter mark of this bowl of year 2013 Capstan Blue Flake in a smooth dark brown post-WWII Comoy’s Grand Slam 340 patent billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Fed all the ferals except for the absent Tomato the Brave. He did eat earlier, though.

I've passed the first third of this bowl of year 2012 Prince Albert in a 2020 smooth light brown, slight bent J. Everett straight grain chubby author with a spalted birch ferrule and a black saddle vulcanite stem in the military mount style. This'll do it for me today. Been feeding the ferals, and my cats. Abner the Eager wasn't here.

Having Old Joe Krantz in my little Lorenzetti before I run off to my Mother's for a New Year gathering. My sister is in town from the far North for signifigant back surgery, vertebral fusion, and we all want to get together before she goes under the knife.View attachment 24426
Good luck with the surgery. Wishing her a great outcome and a speedy recovery.

My dad had it done to his neck using hip bone they reshaped for a vertebra. It really helped him out. Scary but necessary.
