Enjoyed a Jethro Bodine size bowl of Raisin Bran with extra raisins throw in, unsalted peanuts and a golden delicious apple lunch. I've a third of a bowl left of year 2019 C&D Yorktown in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Terracotta 4AB No.108/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Lavazza Classico, neat, is my drink. Watching Bat Masterson.

Smoking Samuel Gawith Hansom Flake vintage February 2020 in a Dunhill Cumberland 5117 Squat Bulldog- one of my favorite pipes. Just an excellent flake! A busy day. Got up early and put my Air Force Service Dress on in order to conduct the funeral service for a fighter pilot I often flew with. RIP Colonel Reimers. Got home early afternoon needing the comfort of a pipe and bourbon. I flew with him in the back seat of the T-33, F-4 and F-16. Thanksgiving for those who wear our Nation's cloth

1-Q in my Brigham bent Dublin. My small delivery came today, just jar humidifiers and some churchwarden pipe cleaners (J. B. Long). The cleaners work great for my clays, which was their purpose. I have a fine steel rod to clear the airway and then I run the pipecleaner through. They're just fine enough to clean without bending or jamming - a smooth, firm fit. I've seen guitar string recommended for clearing clay stems as well, wound lower guage strings, not sure which key.

The ''Hygienists'' in Winter - Part 3

I have analysed in previous posts the tricks that the ''Hygienists" play against us when there are 2-3 of them together, there are also some times when someone is alone. That moron he things that he can change the situation and apply his own rules, neither goes from the beginning and sits in the smoking area or comes later while there are already smokers sitting there. At first he starts to look at us askance, then he makes exclamations like Sighhh, then he starts to hit the pages of the newspaper or magazine (he supposed got angry). Other times he hits the cup on his coffee saucer or throws his cell phone with a bang on the table (he supposed can't stand it any more).
Of course we don't pay any attention to him and continue to smoke our cigar/pipe and this makes him furious. He expects for us to say "oh, sir excuse me, is my smoke bothering you? Is it making you fell uncomfortable? Oh i am so sorry. Do you want me to put it out? Do you want me to change position?" etc but because we don't say anything to him, embarrassed and defeated, that schmuck is forced to go indoors or leave the Café.
He lost and we won..AGAIN!

Half way through this bowl of year 2018 Sutliff Dunhill Elizabethan Match in a straight smooth brown 1960s-70s BBB Own Make 506 Canadian with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Been very busy and my posts will be spotty at times.

Ceci n’est pas une pipe!

I call it my PSO (pipe shaped object) and it is my first attempt at merging my hobbies of unplugged woodworking and pipe smoking. Made out of olivewood and boxwood I took from the woods nearby. No power tools used. Does it smoke well? NO. Do I enjoy trying? YES! With a little bit of Early Morning Pipe this morning.

Hi, Sid!
Are these the same people on a regular basis? If so, have you tried speaking to management about the harassment? Turn the tables on them, let them know that their bad temper and passive hostility are unacceptable.
In any case, I always look forward to your posts. Your table arrangements are beautiful and the landscapes you post leave me envious. Be well!

Outstanding!

It's Saturday and I'm enjoying my Breakfast of Champions, Mark Twain in theRe-Gent. I love having a cob as part of my morning ritual, I'm sure it's entirely psychological but who cares? Codger blends and Mark Twain and African Queen and EGR just feel better in a cob. Have a great week-end, guys!

Earlier, I finished the tub of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.

Then, I smoked a bowl of year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem.

Currently, I have passed the first third of this bowl of year 2014 Peter Stokkebye Luxury Twist Flake in a smooth straight brown mid-1930s Linkman’s Dr. Grabow Supreme Bruyere 9456A patent 1896800 billiard with a nickel band and a black vulcanite saddle stem.

A very good evening to all you fine gentlemen! Apologies for my absence - I've been busy at work, at home and in accommodating financially to my daughter's burgeoning University life! I'm currently enjoying a bowl of MM965 in my Amphora Milos whilst chilling in the garden - literally! I'm 6 months in to my piping journey and I must say that winters are bloody hard without a designated smoking room! Never mind - it's my birthday next week, so I'm looking forward to tobaccos and maybe even an estate pipe or two! Here's hoping 🤞
