Colder than a witch’s clit this morning. 3” of snow on the ground but the sun is out so maybe we’ll get a bit of thawing. We’re 3/4 of a mile down a one lane gravel road that’s not been plowed. I love it. Not hard the guts to go outside yet, I’m dropping PA all over the floor. Smoking a Pete Killarney bent billiard XL90. I’m ready for mosquito bites and sun burn. Come on Spring.

Got my latest tariff refund in the mail, $117.98 back from the original $367.72 on 400g. I will never tire of this game.

Had some Haunted Bookshop, part of the order, in my Brigham bent Dublin to celebrate.
The next time I recoil at a $10 per pound increase in the price of pipe tobacco, I will remind myself how expensive it is for my brothers in other countries.

Close to finishing this bowl of year 2024 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Been doing important stuff on this busy day. Fed all the cats except for the absent Abner the Eager. The rain has finally stopped after three days. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Nobody but my own government to blame, it's their tariff. I know where the blame belongs, I post the math to educate others, particularly other Canadians, about the lengths that government will go to for punitive taxes: "Deceive, inveigle, obfuscate." - Dana Scully, The X Files.

Snowstorm has started. No more chores for me. Going to try to smoke this little poker with Vanilla Custard.
Back from taking care of my friend's final arrangements. Sobering event when you take a person's whole life's stuff and give it away. Turned out he was not well and just hiding it from me because there was nothing I could do, but even to my detriment he knew I would try.
I'm struggling to find any joy right now. I've tried to smoke a couple of times but blah. Being the last man standing amongst my friends is weighing on me.
Hoping resting up after driving 27 hours straight twice in a week will help. Too old for that now. The farm has a rhythm and that should help too. And I have this guy.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am near the half way mark of this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star Cafe 645, neat, is my drink.
