Getting to be a busy day here.. Pool night tonight also.. Had a bowl of Germain's Uncle Tom's Mixture in my Wally Frank LTD Giant.. Then a bowl of just arrived SG's St. James Flake in my MM Country Gentleman Cob.. I will let the St. James Flake dry out more for the next smoke.. Just could not wait and had to re-light a few to get it going good..

yes Velvet, the SJF comes very moist, made my fingers stick after rubbing it out. burns a little steamy when still moist. What did you think of it?

Really it was not bad at all onabullit.. Smoking it in my cob brought out some great flavors and I will put some in my Eagle Claw Meer to dry out for about 6-8 hours and light it up for a real taste test.. Like I said I am also storing one out of the two tins I ordered. I will let it store for a year. May get more later to store for more time in the cellar..

Got home after a week in California and loaded my big Bari Wiking with Odyssey. Good thing; the furnace had gone out, and it was 18 F outside and maybe 22 inside. Kept me warm for an hour.

Small hours of the morning here & I've got FVF in a GBD New Era billiard. Yesterday I had Piet over for coffee & a couple of bowls . We opened a couple fresh tins - Hamborger Veermaster & Chelsea Morning. Piet hadn't tried the Hamborger yet & was impressed.

Hey Mudd.. Glad to hear you and Piet got to gather the smoke time.. I had a good night out at pool league.. Took Captain Black and PA with me and smoked a few bowls of each in my La Strada Pico.. Now its time to head out to the already warmed truck for my nightly bowl of SG Chocolate Flake in my CAO Big Head Meer.. Then book and pillow time.. :cheers:

Samuel Gawith Squadron Leader out of my nording sitter, my first bowl out of a 250 gram box that had a ziplock sealed on the inside. Moisture content is perfect.
Great Medium Body cool smoking smoke with a pleasant balance of virginias and latakia and a nice interplay of Turkish.

Had a good night at pool league. Stopped at the store for some OTC blend I saw last week. Had it this morning and it was not bad.. PA Cherry Vanilla in my Fisher Meer Lined..It is windy and cold here.. 8)

Early evening here & it's still pretty hot. Enjoying a bowl of Bayou Morning in a Pete Rossclare prior to supper. I'll spend the evening mooching around the forums, watching a bit of TV & tying up some flies.
