I received this as a gift recently, 8 oz. to be exact. I enjoy a good strong tobacco but was unaware the guy that gifted this rope to me only chews it :geek: :joker:  So, let's light some up after I prepare it and let it rest for about 30 minutes: I will stuff my pipe the same way I do with Strang, the BEST tobacco I've ever smoked.

Gawith Hoggarth & Co. Happy Brown Bogie Unsliced
Pipe of choice: a new MM Country Gentleman that will be dedicated to this tobacco.

KEEP ON PUFFING!!!

UPDATE: 4:31pm, just finished a bowl and I really enjoyed the N hit. I found it to be spicy ( peppery ) with NO bite. Smoked to the bottom with no dottle. If you like strong tobacco's give this a try!!

Some 2006 Blankeney's Best Tawny Flake in my smooth Peterson XL-26 Silver Spigot. I just couldn't wait until tonight.

H&H BlackHouse in my own custom made chubby billiard pipe, 5 1/4" long and a 1 7/8" deep chamber. The briar is over 75 years old and Algerian. I finished off the shank with a piece of black palm and olive wood. The stem is orange/black Cumberland. A bit front heavy for long term clenching but it's a superb smoker

KEEP ON PUFFING!!!

A blend of aged Burley & Black 75% and aged Bayou Night 25%. It's like salty, spicy peanuts with a hint of chocolate. Nice dessert smoke, burns well with NO tongue bite.

Pipe of choice: Aldo Velani smooth blonde Brandy shape bowl with an oval shank and a wide stem. The all day clenching pipe. One of my favorites  :bounce:

Well, last pipe for the night so I'm choosing a STRONG tobacco. If your NOT into a strong tobacco this is NOT for you. You either love this or you will find it's the worst tobacco you've ever smoked. Everybody has different taste when it comes to tobacco's.
