Started off this early AM with a fine bowl of OGS in the humble Sav estate 316 Oscar Lucite.

Mid-day saw some most excellent homeblend from one of our fine brothers who shall remain nameless. Wish this blend was commercially available as I'd get in POUNDS! Oh, and the pipe of choice was the Tinsky '15 POTY.

Have some shredded Revor plug awaiting after supper, which the Wiley Rhody/Dub seems to love.

Cheers,

RR

Now smoking Dunhill Flake in a straight smooth patent era 1952 Dunhill Bruyere ODA apple 806 B124 with a black vulcanite stem. Thought I'd see how this new-to-me pipe handles straight Virginias.

Cornell & Diehl Three Friars in a Jerry Crawford sandblast billiard with Cumberland stem.
Rattray's Hal O' the Wynd in my Charl Goussard dark sandblast brandy with orange black Cumberland stem.
SPC Deception Pass in Stanwell Danish Reserve smooth finish Canadian.
Lastly, GL Pease Haddo's Delight in the Goussard mentioned above.

Have a great weekend everyone!

SG Black XX Twist Rope, this is a STRONG tobacco. It's for those pipe smokers that enjoy a good strong tobacco at times, oh I've had better but I still have a few ounces of this that's been aged for quite a while. Might help me sleep

Pipe of choice: A well used MM Legend pipe

KEEP ON PUFFING!!!

...final pipe of the day...G&H American Delight in a H Ege Floral Calabash Meerschaum...

You're a better man than I to smoke that!  The N isn't too strong for me, but the taste is.  I prefer GH Black Irish Twist or Revor when I smoke similar blends.

Speaking of N, I was out enjoying the brisk clear night with War Horse Bar in a Servi meer egg

DrT, I enjoy both blends you mentioned. The particular one I smoked last night has that high N hit you want ONLY before bedtime. It has a good taste, I'll give it that much. NOT for the timid pipe smoker for sure!!

KEEP ON PUFFING!!!
