Ted the shape of that pipe would fit my hand perfectly and the green ring (Jade?) offers a nice contrast. Some rubbed out Rum Flake would be my first choice to use in it. :)

AJ, because of the diameter and depth of the chamber this pipe would smoke flake blends superbly. A couple of years ago I purchased this Icarus and the wire wheel rusticated Apple Icarus on eBay new, both delivered @ $95.00. It was a lucky win from a seller that usually does not sell pipes and did not post the pipes properly. The band is faux jade with a slight bend to the stem. Comfortable pipe too clench. In my 49th year of pipe smoking and I can say " if it's not a great deal don't purchase another pipe "! At times I forget what I stated...lol

My next smoke will be with my Icarus Apple, another great smoker. Also in case you never noticed it pictured prior. That's what friends do :bounce: :bounce:

KEEP ON PUFFING!!!

Just finished smoking Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem. Ice water and bergs is my evening drink. The trusty Saint Bernard brought us the bergs right before he stole the keys to my whisky cabinet. You'd think that was bad enough, but the little so-and-so made off with three of my finest maduros, too. Mu guard cats, Suzy and Molly, were busy being bribed with tuna. I end up with pipe tobacco. I'm sure it's all AJ's fault.

Now smoking D&R Three Sails in a 1980s straight smooth Big Ben pot with a nickel band and a black vulcanite stem. This will get me to dinner time.

Not me. If had been me you wouldn't had any tobacco left. At least all of your hoarded Rotary would be gone. It's not right for anyone to have 30-40 tins of it and refuse to share any of it with me whom ypu have called one of your good friends. And a host of other names which cast a shadow on my ancestory. It's not my fault your dog and cats have turned against you. For the last several weeks instead of looking after their needs you've been pestering everyone you know about some chinsy watch you wanted to buy but found out you weren't a big enough man to wear it.

:lol!: :lol!: :lol!: :lol!: :lol!: :lol!: :lol!:
