MM Great Dane tobacco date on Mason jar 2011 in my Stanwell Royal Guard pipe. An excellent smoking pipe with a beautiful grain.

KEEP ON PUFFING!!!

...earlier...Lane Burley...now, Paladin in a MM Mark Twain...

Relaxing after a wonderful rib-eye steak and saffron rice dinner with a bowl of Strang in a 1999 medium bend black sandblast Savinelli Tris 677KS apple with a cumberland stem. It's time for Game Seven, folks!

Rattray's Bagpipers Dream in my wire wheel rusticated Icarus black Volcano pipe.

KEEP ON PUFFING!!!

Having an after dinner bowl of 7 yo OGS in a Charatan Freehand Relief Dublin in what was a Tanshell finish when I bought it back in the early '70s.

Aged 5100 in a humble Stanny Legend 19. Replacement stem, and the bowl has several fills. But it smokes great and that's all that I need.

Cheers,

RR

Now smoking Sam Gawith Medium Virginia Flake in a 2014 Savinelli Gaius smooth brown slight bend black acrylic stem and ferrule 320KS author. Astros lead the Doodgers 5-0 in the 2nd. Dodgers should have known better than to start Davish.

Peter Stokkebye Luxury Bullseye date on Mason jar 2010
Pipe of choice: Aldo Velani pot, smooth briar Octagonal shank with a wide slightly bent stem. A stunning grain on this excellent smoking pipe. Cost me $35.00 new on eBay about 2 years ago.
Smokes better then my Eltang....price means absolutely nothing when it comes to a great smoking pipe. It's about the proper aged briar and the overall mechanics.

One more bowl for the night. I'm smoking Dan Tobacco's Choo Choo Train in my Savinelli Bing's Favorite. Nice mellow vanilla/honey smoke. I bought it because of the train picture on the tin. Yes, I'm a train nut!

How many times have I bought tobaccos, books and lots of other things because I liked the packaging? Too many to want to admit! I'm a sucker for marketing.

Now smoking Watch City Slices in a smooth medium bend 2011 Rinaldo Collection Fiammata Silver Line 7 Odea 4 flame grain bulldog with a silver band and a tortoise shell acrylic stem. Astros lead 5-0, but the Dodgers are threatening to score.

Preparing my final pipe of the day:

G. L. Pease Jackknife Plug date on tin 5/2011

Pipe of choice: Restored to MINT condition....Ben Wade smooth briar Oom Paul pipe. A flawless piece of briar with a stunning grain.

KEEP ON PUFFING!!!

Backsliding a bit tonight. Just finished an Arturo Fuente Churchill natural wrapper. Very good but I seem to have lost my taste for them a bit since I returned to pipes. Back to my beloved lat blends tomorrow.

Now smoking year 1936 Briggs Mixture in a 1977 straight black rusticated Sir Brent billiard with a silver band repair and a brown pearl grey acrylic stem. The Dodgers are down to their last three outs.
