Finished off OJK in the Kaywoodie poker.

13c going up to 24c. Mostly sunny expected today.

Not much on my agenda today besides house chores and walking the dog :D

A mixture that I call "Regor's Choice" half and half of Marlin Flake and McClellands 2015. The pipe is Lorenzetti "Nero"... a low end shaped like a straight Billiard.

This is one of Regor's (Roger's) favourites. Haven't heard from Roger is some time, since he moved after his wife passed away in Arizona. I hope Roger is okay and drops by some time.

3 year old LJ Heart Va in a no name oom paul. Excellent!

Spent the afternoon over at Muddler's place...... as usual we did some hard smoking.....
a VA afternoon.
SG golden glow....
Rattray's. Old Gowrie...
Mac Baren, club blend and Navy flake!

Old Gowrie sure is a brilliant smoke.
Mudd And I were both impressed with with the Mac Baren blends, for a change some Mac B with no bite at all. These were both brilliant. The Navy Flake is young and was good right off the bat. The Club medallions have 3 years of cellar time and this was superb!!!
Thanks for a great afternoon Mudd my friend!

......Just making sure I am not dreaming........ MacBaren club blend in a Sav 320 KS......... and yes!!!!!!!
another great bowl!!!!.....still no bite!!!!!!

PS Luxury Twist Flake in a Peterson emerald calabash. Luxury Twist certainly is on my "A" list... sort of a blend when I just don't want to think about it, just enjoy it :D

Holy Crap it's almost 2:00pm here and I haven't put dishes away, kept the clothes wash going or made the bed... and my wife will be home in 4 hours

Mac Baren Virginia No 1 in a Lorenzetti contantine a good size (group 5-6) bent sitter in an apple shape. I am using an adsorba 9 mm charcoal filter.

I've never had good luck smoking Va No 1. I'm not sure if it's tongue bite, chemistry, but I would describe it as a sharp sensation in the mouth. Hoping the filter will have some positive affect. BTW, this must have a couple of years on it, in the jar.

It was an all Peretti's tabac day to-day, earlier their new #1072 in my Ashton magnum, this eve, Somerset fl. in two Tinsky's, my Berkshire, and my paneled calabash**, Ken
Pacem en Puffing!

Embarcadero about two years old (who can wait ?)

Haymarket era Loewe Fawley (slender billiard) with (like you didn't know this was coming) a custom-made/tuned LL lucite stem.

:face:

My first ever bowl of Presbyterian in a Baki meer,,,very interesting blend, lots of interplay between the tobaccos with none hogging the spotlight,,,subtle, smooth,
,,,,and VERY entertaining,,,

FVF (this particular jar a present from Vito. Ca. 1988 and near black).

Roberto Ascorti Caminetto (1986) stocky straight bulldog with phenomenal grain.

Life is good :D

:face:

going to hit some Mac Baren Navy flake for breakfast!!!!!!!! pipe still to be decided!!! coffee for sure!

Mac Baren Va No1 in a Lorenzetti caesar augustus, a billiard shape, gr 5-5. I have a twin to this. Started without filter and then am finishing it this morning with a 9mm filter and with coffee.

14c going up to 28c with possibility of thunder shower this afternoon. We beginning to get some serious summer weather here.

Busy day, so won't be pestering the board as much ;) . Grim Reaper duties for a couple of families and tonight my wife and I are invited out to friends.

Escudo in a Savinelli "David's Choice", a small bent apple shape rustcated. I suspect that "David's Choice" is stamped for Canadian distribution. They are low end but nice smoker's. It wouldn't surprise me if Brigham is the Canadian distributer. Brigham is like the Lane's of the USA, most pipe tobacco's that are sold in Canada come through Brigham. At least that's my understanding.

Well, I've got to get ready to go for the day.

Another bowl of Somerset Slice in my Tinsky paneled calabash **, I can't leave this tabac alone! :D Ken
pacem en Puffing!
