Good Morning!
I didn't do any chores this morning and they're all done! A friend we're sharing some of our land with came over and took care of everything, he also did the chores when we went to visit @JimInks and picked up the Scamper brothers. Here's Billy on the new scratching post.

I also had a taste of KBV Brown Flek and Jim's Special Flake and enjoyed both! Jim sent back some additional KBV samples for me to try, thanks Jim!

Starting the day with GLP Westminster in an MM Boone along with coffee.

Relaxed a bit after four wonderful half pound cheeseburgers and freshly made hand cut fries with oatmeal raisin cookies, and a bowl of French vanilla ice cream for dessert. I just finished smoking Watch City SEPC McClouxgaroux 2023 in a 2003 smooth full bend, gold banded 3 Star Ferndown Tudor Root with a black acrylic tapered stem. Hadn't smoked this pipe in quite a while. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

Jim, I'd have enough to do eating one of those! (but I look more like I eat 4 every day)

Nice pipe!

Got tired of trying to get all the remnant Steamworks to burn in the GBD, so emptied it to put it in the top of an MM Pride raw cob with forever stem with Prince Albert on the bottom. Bit better now and the cob is coming through as usual. It is glorious day here with 60s F this am and a light breeze.
As Charlie Daniels said "ain't it good to be alive and be in Tennessee"!

Good morning BoBs. Having Round Up in the Don Carlos bent dublin with morning coffee. Will be warm again today, low 90s, but better than the scorcher we had yesterday. Official high was 98, but our back patio was 102 at 2 pm. We will be sweating in our Honor Guard uniforms today. Glad we get a free pint at the Legion afterwards, lol.

No smoking for me today, I've got a raging toothache, and it just happens to be in the very spot, that I like to sit my pipe, yes I know I should try another spot for the stem, but I'm a creature of habit, and a stubborn cus, and I keep forgetting, and hence keep banging the sore tooth. So I'm off to the pub for a cure of lager and JD. Have a great day my friends 😊

This beautiful Friday I enjoyed around half the bowls worth of some Charatan First Bowl in my Dr. G briar. I liked EMP and this is good too.
Gosh the weather is wonderful here, just in time for the Sisters Rodeo this Sunday.
Sorry to hear about your tooth, Zippo. Dental pain can be one of the worst things to deal with.

Half way through this bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Watching Mad Dog Russo. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am almost a third of the way through this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star 50th, neat, is my drink.

Oh boy! Having Epiphany in my Rossi Lumberman. A shipment arrived today: 1/2 pound each of Epiphany, Exclusive, Star of the East, and Pegasus! What a week-end I will have! Epiphany is on par with Oriental Silk, I cannot wait to try the rest. The Latakia and Perique are a wonderful compliment to this Burley/Virginia blend, rich and flavourful. Restraint is my watchword this week-end. I need to get more hermalique jars.

Passing the quarter mark of this bowl of year 2019 C&D Derringer in a straight smooth brown 1920s (Comoy’s) Lions Head 399 Canadian with a tapered black vulcanite stem. This should get me to dinner time. Watching the Braves-Nats game.
