Almost half way through this bowl of year 2012 St. James Flake in a straight 1968 Dunhill Tanshell octagonal paneled EK F/T billiard with a square shank and tapered black vulcanite stem.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and sugar snap peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm half way through this bowl of Watch City Original Crumb Cut in a 1950s-60s straight smooth brown Bertram 07 octagonal paneled billiard with a square shank and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Watching the Braves-Nats game.

Almost half way through this bowl of aged Rattrays Hal O’ The Wynd in a straight smooth brown pre-WWII (Comoy’s) Corinthian De-Luxe 126 pot made for Sutliff in San Francisco with a black tapered vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

I'm a third of the way through this bowl of 2019 C&D Yorktown in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Terracotta 4AB No.108/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. All the ferals except for the absent Abner the Eager had plenty of food. Daisy the Feral Princess is snoozin' on her blanket. Harry the Hairy was his usual self, but he wouldn't eat until I held him and gave him some attention.

Week-ends have become my weekly recovery period, I just can't get enough rest in the week to keep up. Too hot to do yard work this week-end, rain has been sparse and temperatures high. Mowing will only strain the turf, it doesn't grow much when days are this hot and dry anyway. My shipment has been delayed until Monday, hardly surprising. Our postal service is threatening strike action, yet again. The only country where Posties go on strike more often than Canada is France, So, instead of some Velvet in a Country Gent, like I planned, I'm having my Breakfast of Champions substitute, MM 150th in my Bones Dublin, coffee on the side.

Starting off my smoking day with a bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.

I just got in from work, Pete Watson,7 seas regular, Mc Cafe k-cup. Although, I must say that I am pretty impressed with the Stokebye blends that I have been buying in bulk. The sweet vanilla and B&B are very good aro`s. The tobacco`s are not a sticky mess and the toppings are applied with a light hand, but are present when you smoke.

Working in the yard, and getting anal about mixing oil and gas for my Stihl trimmer and husky chainsaw. The trimmer started giving trouble by bogging down. Tried all the usual culprits to no avail, so decided it must be the fuel. Carefully mixed some new Echo Red Armor oil with 89 no ethanol gas. This seems to have solved it. One lesson learned is don't trust those little 2.6 ounce bottles to be a true amount-measure it yourself. Now, with gloves off and no gas residue 😉, I am having my last Peterson 3P in the little Algerian. Later, I reward myself with a tobacco saved back for when I finished the last of a Prince Albert can.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am nearly half way through this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star Jamaica Blue Mountain Dark Roast, neat, is my drink. Watching the Yankees-Rockies game with Sleepy Suzy by my side. Molly Danger is snoozin' in the bedroom.

Now, I'm rewarding myself for finishing my Prince Albert tub with some Granger out of a just cracked tub from a Spring 2023 4noggins order. It's been over a year since I've had Granger, and it is as remembered-good. It's 93 F here, but I'm thinking about doing some more trimming and then chainsaw repair.

I neglected to post this morning, I eventually had my usual Westminster in an Apple Diplomat. I came in from chores to find this

I assumed it was one of the Scamper brothers. My wife offered to have a new one delivered from Walmart, it's here and connected!

This afternoon I'm smoking GLP Chelsea Morning in a bent MM Missouri Pride and about to switch from coffee to Moscato wine as I watch qualifying for tomorrow's Portland Grand Prix.
