I forgot to post yesterday's last pipe. I opened up a tin of GLP Ashbury and loaded up a bent MM Missouri Pride and enjoyed it with a glass of Moscato wine.

It's a beautiful morning and the chores are done. I loaded up a bent MM Apple Diplomat with GLP Westminster and made a k-cup of coffee it go along with it.

My wife and I are hosting some guests for the weekend and come 10am, ill be heading back home from work to make a big breakfast for everybody.

It's my version of Cowboy Coffee. Not exactly the same but several BoBs on here say they like it. 60% SWR regular, 25% black cav, 15% ODF. By volume, not weight, and I just eyeball it so it's not precise just approximate. And, you can adjust to taste. Want a bit sweeter, add cav, back off on ODF, stronger, add more ODF, less SWR. One thing I do is before mixing in the ODF I take scissors and cut the ODF into smaller chunks so it mixes better and spreads the flavor out more. Let me know if you like it.

Quite sublime. A pleasant 68 on the patio and quiet on the mountain. A morning to enjoy. Have a great day my friends.

Watched High Plains Drifter while I had breakfast and a bit of Pegasus in my little Lorenzetti. Going out to do the yard.

Since I am limiting myself to just 2 bowls today decided to pep it up a bit with C&D Billy Budd in a Pete Lestrade bent apple with more cowboy coffee. Need to get a better jar for this as I have to keep rehydrating it.

Back to relaxing, a Tyskie with a bowl of Velvet in my Rossi Canadian. Yard is mown and trimmed and I've done battle, yet again, with the wasps. I am losing faith in chemical warfare...

Close to finishing this bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.

Passing the half way mark of this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a 1999 smooth brown medium bend Peterson Sherlock Holmes Series Baskerville with a sterling silver band and black vulcanite p-lip stem. Watching the Yankees-Cardinals game. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Having a bowl of C&D Burley Flake #1 in an MM Pride raw cob with forever stem. Just pick a bunch of ole timey pears for preserves.

Half way through this bowl of year 2021 first production Watch City Simply Orange Virginia in a black sandblast medium bend Peterson POTY 4AB No. 182/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. With help from a friend, I have somebody coming over to see if he can fix our air conditioner.

Close to finishing this bowl of Peretti 00 in a straight black sandblasted circa 1950s Comoy’s Peterson’s made for Peterson, Ltd. in Wisconsin billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. We were very lucky to find somebody who changed out the capacitor in our air conditioner on a holiday weekend. Paid more than we would have on a weekday, but it's worth not having to wait until Tuesday, so I'm not complaining.
