I'm in the backyard with Sir Barksalot of Yorkshire. I'm enjoying Sutliff Black Cordial in a Monarch 1054H bent ball.

The MM cob is taking a beating today in the rain. Time to put her up and go inside to smoke some briar.
I tried some Granger today and it was very nice. Good working smoke. Crazy egg today. My chickens lay chocolate, green and blue eggs. One of the chickens must have gotten a magic mushroom. That's the bluest one I've gotten yet. And two-tone at that.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am smoking year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star 50th, neat, is my drink. Abner the Eager showed up about two minutes after my first post of the day. He ate and is snoozin'. I'm watching The Lone Ranger, and getting ready to clean a few pipes.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and sugar snap peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. Molly Danger is on m'lady's lap.

Having a bowl of Vanilla Custard in a Sterncrest I cleaned up. Tired but not sleepy. Going to read Neverness for awhile see what happens.
If I can't sleep I have a couple of pipes to work on as gifts to friends.
I'm hoping they are happy to get estate pipes and not new ones. Myself I always wonder who smoked it..how old were they...what they did for a living...what tobacco did they smoke...
Especially on a pipe that is really old.

Listing this a tad early: several years old Dunhill Elizabethan in a straight smooth, dark brown patent era 1952 Dunhill Bruyere ODA apple 806 B124 with a black vulcanite tapered stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Tomato the Brave is snoozin' on my feet. Maybe I'll surprise him, and wash them some day. :)
