Five Leaf Clover

Here is a second picture, right after I found it yesterday. Of course, I stink at taking close-up pics. [/img]

    Five Leaf Clover

So yesterday, while playing in the yard with my little boy, I found this five-leaf clover and the promptly a four-leaf right after. I haven't found one of these since childhood, and remember the weirdest one I ever found was a six-leaf. Now, four-leaf clovers are routine for me. I often find...

Does your pipe fit your Face style?????

Well, I'm stout and partial to "bent" pipes, so they have me pegged.

Why pipes should be sold in the men's department.

doc - I love that sort of stuff. Man, you couldn't get away with that nowadays. People would sue you for prejudice towards their age or body type. That poster is really cool.

    I agree wholeheartedly!

    Photos

Since the iPad does not allow you to browse the file system, my guess is no. I tried it before on my iPad and couldn't figure it out. I think the iOS is so locked down that you can't even browse to the gallery through the "Host an Image" button in the safari based browser. It's a definite issue...

Why pipes should be sold in the men's department.

I think if more people made the effort to slow down and learn to smoke the pipe, the world would be a nicer place. Emphasis on "slow down" aka. maybe not be to stressed out and angry. I seem to live in a city full of nothing but angry, stressed out people on the verge of anxiety attacks. :)

    Brewery update

That's awesome! What beer types do you brew? I'd love to get a taste of your brew. Do you make any dark beers? Ah, beer. There is nothing as refreshing to me.

    International Pipe Smokers Day

I had my first pipe on over a month on Sunday and promptly had a second one. Oh my, what a slice of heaven. I'd forgotten how much I love the leaf. I didn't have a chance to smoke today, but this weekend's bowls were a reminder how much I love my pipes.

What do you collect besides pipes?

I'm starting a collection of booze that I never have a chance to drink. But it's okay, my dad comes over and drinks it for me! LOL :lol!:

    What's your pocketknife?

I use this knife as my pipe tool. When I bought it the blade was razor sharp and staid that way until I decide to carve some briar with it. Intelligent, huh? Well, I ran it across a wet stone today and then used my leather strop with compound and the darn thing is sharp as heck again. I'd...

    What's your pocketknife?

I know that carrying a pocket knife really isn't a replacement for carrying a real weapon to protect yourself with, but do you feel a sense of security when carrying your favorite blade? I've often toyed with the idea of carrying something for protection, mainly because I live in a place with...

    What's your pocketknife?

Simple Man, How are the edges on those blades? I finally purchased my first non-stainless knife, and I look forward to having something that I can actually sharpen, opposed to the knives I've had which wouldn't hold an edge, nor stay sharp very long. BTW: Half-Penny, very cool! I don't have...

    What's your pocketknife?

Lesath, Man, really? Chain link? I'm impressed. I was just looking at the CRKT M16, that looks like a great, entry level knife. But, right now I can't afford to buy yet another knife. :)

    Wood Carving

Thanks Mike, I painted a "totem pole" of wind spirits and it turned out okay, but I think I'll leave this as is. I will, however, put some semi-gloss on it, just to give it a little shine and protection. And thanks for the compliment! :) Oh, do you have carving tools? The guys at Woodcraft...

    What's your pocketknife?

This is interesting as the latest knife purchase I made was a "Dr.'s Knife." I use it primarily with my pipe. The slender build allows me to use it as a tamper and all purpose pipe-tool. However, I'd really like something non-stainless that will keep an edge. My carving knives are razor sharp...

    Wood Carving

Hey Brothers, I am not sure what will do with this carving now that I have gone this far. I'll probably round out the front some more and make it a simply pipe rest. :) As for the comment about drawing ability, I can't draw worth a darn. Instead, I used the tricks in this video.. Spirit Face...
