    Running Low on Escudo

Buy in bulk from SP and save. 10% off 25+ tins. I'm VaPer fan and I have 3 favorites besides Escudo, Solani 633, PS LBF, etc. 1) My goto everyday VaPer. McClelland 2015. I've never had a bad smoke, ever. Cube cut, gravity load, light tamp and heaven. Goes with water, tea, beer, rum (especially...

What every serious Corn Cob smoker should have!

Huff covered the reasons. I have a cup of pens and one or two in each car "in case". Check book is a once in a while thing. Just looked and the last written check was October '14. I do sign checks once a month for my HOA but the manager has pens. I couldn't tell you the last time I purchased a...

What every serious Corn Cob smoker should have!

I've seen those and almost pulled the trigger but than I realized I don't use writing instruments enough to warrant the purchase. Times are a changing.

    McC's 2015

I've probably smoked a small child's weight of 2015 over the years. I like it fresh, though I do not pick out the nuances Zeno has, I like it aged which changes the perique from a plum/pepper to an all out plum/raisin. The VAs to me are outstanding (expect no less from McC) from the get go and...

    All Day Smoke?

Smoke what you like when you like. I used to do the same as your talking about. One blend all day or even a number of days or till I finished a tin. That was when I was smoking 4 or more bowls a day. Now I only have time for one, two if I'm lucky, so smoking one blend is no problem.

    This place is getting BORING

Spring is here for most parts of the US and maybe people are out doing other things. I haven't had a smoke since the 1st. Been busy in areas not conducive to smoking. Also depending on site software, I'll visit some site more often than others.

    New Pipes. Pre-Carbonized

I used to coat my bare new pipes with honey but stopped doing it for no reason. Those pipes had the best break in and cake of all. For the record I despise the coatings.

    Tins for your own tobacco?

Hear's what I use. A few quick pumps and its sealed. Enough air still remains in the jar for fermintation. A machine may take out too much air IMHO. I crack a jar and smoke what I want and if I tire of it, a few quick pumps and back it goes.

    Remember Pete Rose?

He was one helluva player. I do not have the desire to Google it but didn't someone come forth with his bookie's notebook showing he bet as a player and against his team. Up until that revelation he still lied about what he has done. He broke a big rule and if he would have come clean all those...

What to do when the rivers are flooded over the roads

Right now we have wind and blowing snow (Colorado). Its literally snowing at a 90° angle. I've found whatever weather we have today, the Midwest gets it 24 to 36 hours later.

    Welsh Archer Ale (variation of)

It looks like you've made a decent red ale. Kudos on dry hopping. Ive always felt dry hopping malty beers are great and SA04 is a reliable great yeast.

    Chili

I'm a chili head and I'm always making chili. I prefer my chili without beans but my wife wants it with beans. Fortunately she likes it spicy. Unfortunately my son hasn't adapted to spicy foods yet. Here is recipe I use for the family now. Its from a Wendy's copy cat recipe. It's a nice basic...
